  1. Enjoying the post and comments about Mr. The man knows what he wants.

This paying for priority is just another nickel and dime approach as airlines have done.

Found out the Nickel and dime issue yesterday when upgrading to our IPhone 15s. They provide the charging cord with the phone but you have to buy the block to plug in the wall. All the old cables don’t work now so now you have to buy new cables for additional charging locations or car. 😩

@upwarduk we had priority tendering in Cayman last winter on X as Elite Plus. You mention they stopped this after COVID….🤔

    Sail On!

    Cheers!

  2. If you buy the all inclusive which provides basic internet and classic beverge when booking.  Watch for offers for upgrades before you sail.

I just upgraded from classic to premium for $9.99 PP per day. Some hit it for $6.99 PP per day. Onboard it can be $20 PP per day or as in the sample above $18.99 PP per day! That does not include taxes and gratuity. 🙄 🍸

    Cheers!

As we opened our seapass cards, I asap discovered that I’m not registered as a captain’s club member😳

Mr had Elite and everything in order….

This may have been said before, you will need to go the Captains Club on your next leg to get new cards with your Elite Plus status. We had a change from Elite to Elite Plus during our winter cruising last year and the system is not updated to reflect your points by the next cruise. We were told it takes up to 2 weeks. I know they can look up your points on line ( showing points prior to the cruise you just completed),  however I took a screen shot of our points from the website and then went to Captains Club where they added the past cruise points and produced new cards for us.

Cruise is going well so far, thanks again for sharing making me get excited for our winter cruising!

    Cheers!

We're on the Apex to Norway on August 16, 2024 - only 7 dqys, but that's what our friends wanted to do.  Then we spend 4 days in the South of England, and get back on the ship for a Scandinavian 12 day cruise.  Very excited.

If you are staying in Southampton try the Pig in the Wall B&B. Right by the port and it is a great place to stay.

    Cheers!

  5. Jumping on board to enjoy another Live!

This looks like a great cruise and moving up to a Sky Suite along the way…. Wow!  We enjoyed a Sky Suite on Edge back in the day and it was outstanding! Love the window between the bathroom and inside the cabin. Take advantage of the Retreat! I have to say I really like the infinity balcony too.

Also, glad to hear about your Japan cruise since we will be joining DaKahuna in Japan.

    Safe travels!

    Cheers!

Sitting in London City Airport for quick flight to Rotterdam.

And dang it, flight delayed an hour.

Oh well, I’ll sit here and post some more.

Looks like no other local beer since you are heading out. Next time.

    Cheers!

  7. Enjoy your trip! Will be following along.

We just returned from England. Spent 14 days sailing the Mediterranean then back to Southampton to go up to Wigginton just outside of London for 10 days visiting friends.

We actually lived the local life! Small village with a great pub. If you try another beer try Side Pocket. A local beer from Tring.

British Airways Business class is outstanding! Wouldn’t fly to Europe any other way.

We sailed Apex this past winter in the Caribbean and enjoyed it. We love the Edge class.

    Cheers!

So, I said something about family time in the north of Norway in the beginning of this adventure…..

Since our oldest nephew had his confirmation party, he needed a present.

The usual are cash is King 👑💵💵💵 (and believe me, the confirmation youth’s get a lot of it😜

But someone needs to give a gift that are something special and something to look forward to😌 (it’s all in the details️)

So we gave our nephew, uncle & aunt’s favourite activity for a holiday……..

A cruise on X by us to Greek Islands💙

So next summer, he will be sailing by us on a 7-night Infinity cruise from Athens🚢💙💙

He was so happy and ready to go!

This is great! We believe in the same thinking. we took our Nephew ( God Child) on a cruise for his birthday. It was delayed a year because of Covid but still it was just a plus one. We have no children so the Nephews and Niece get spoiled a bit. Introducing them to the wonders and adventures of the world is fun!

    Cheers!

I can never understand why people that feel this way would book this tour.  It's all about the museums and archaeological sites.  People who do not read the descriptions of the tours have no right to complain.

@DaKahuna, funny they were able to find a bar open in town on a Sunday with stores closed. Priorities! 🍸 🥂 🍺 😂

  11. We sailed on Equinox this past winter for 19 nights and Reflection for 14 nights. We never eat in the MDR, Tuscan has always been our MDR.

We have sailed these ships many times and have to say that the quality of Tuscan and I will include Murano have gone down. With that said I alway say that food is subjective. What works for one doesn’t always work for the other.

I would say go for the experience and make your personal judgement.

I would make one suggestion, it those with you are meat eaters, I would pay the $15 up charge for the better New York Strip. It was well worth it. We were with friends from Texas ( meat Eaters) that didn’t upgrade and wished they did.

    Cheers!

  12. @xpcdoojk would you do me a favor?

As said we will be on Anthem June 23rd and haven’t sailed Royal in a while.

Would you ask a bartender what the cost of a double Toto’s is on the rocks. On celebrity it fell within the $ limit on the drink plan. Wondering if it falls within the Diamond Plus vouchers that we will have.

    really appreciate it!

    Cheers!
