We're in Michigan and leaving on the 17th. Also can't wait as we have tons of snow and it's -2 degrees right now and getting colder for tomorrow.

We have watched the championship games while on two cruises. Lots of fun...( in the sports bar ) :)

We are gonna watch it from the red frog rum bar on Lido of the Dream :D on the big screen! That should be cool

We just got off Victory today. They had all the games on the big screen. We were in Cozumel the first night and were able to get the games in the Stateroom. The day at sea yesterday we could not get any in our room but they had the games all over the ship including the big screen.

WE will be on the Dream! We were thinking Liberty but Ive never been on the dream class ships so Thats what won me over... Hope We get out of Indiana!!! Are you flying from Indy? We are leaving the 17th on southwest

'long form' has nothing to do with the size of the paper, it means the information provided -- your daughter's has all the 'long form' info and is issued by the state -- you'll have no problem. :)

Do they show this on the big screen? Can you watch this in the bars or your room? does the Dream have the correct channels for the championship? Thanks!

It doesn't say they have to use the long form birth certificate for a cruise, but to be safe I would make sure that is what I had. A while ago there were threads on CC about people being denied boarding in New Orleans because they only had the short form BC without all the info that the State Dept. now requires.

My Daughters is diff than my Sons and mine. ours are a long sheet of paper and hers is half size. But is does have Mine and her fathers name, place of birth and county of birth and issuance from Indiana, Signature and a raised seal. So whats the deal with the long form? It came directly from the New Castle health department as they are the ones that issue the BC

I would try hard for a earlier flight or start driving now and forgo the plane ticket price. I live In Indianapolis and our cruise is on the 18th. If bad weather comes in we are keeping a eye on it and will get earlier flights.

Im going to be using Victor Boddens private tour as excursion. My question, How safe is Roatan? Trip advisory says not so safe in Roatan but tourist sites rent as bad. Whats not "as Bad'

Miami is much more dangerous and scary then Roatan! I've been to both Roatan and the mainland- they are completely different, might as well be different countries. That being said, you still have to use common sense wherever you travel.

To the OP..I would walk around Coxen at night by myself, but I sure would not in many U.S. cities...I really think this subject gets confused with the Honduras mainland..We have been in some really remote areas by ourselves with never a hint of a problem..There is a harbor security guy there by the name of Larry Gale. He hangs out at a little dock right outside the gate at Coxen after the ship is tied up. He has a white center console boat tied there. He would be the man to talk to about safety. He is very friendly. Tell him Buddy from Texas sent you.Once you have been there you will see how safe you feel and wonder why you worried.Photo of Larry.

Thanks so much for all the information. We are sailing on the Dream on 1/18/2014. It looks so much different than other Carnival ships we have sailed on (Legend, Freedom twice and Fascination). We saw it in port last December when we were cruising on Disney Fantasy and it looked really nice so we are excited.

Cant wait! 19 more days!!!:D

It's a shared item - like an appetizer or a big bowl of salad. If you watch the video they said you don't have to order for the table to share you can order just for yourself if you choose. :D

I just did, Under the Solo Cruise sale. For the same cruise Im going on the cost is More than What we paid for double occupancy. I mean wow...

All I see for the "sale" Is The same rate for double. $1439 for a 7 night cruise for one person balcony.. HA

I tell you what carnival 2 thumbs up for these single rate cruises. You cant beat these deals for solo cruising!!!!!!!

If they didnt come and clean everyday ppl would complain that the rooms were not getting clean... ppl just complain. Ours we would just say if the crusin sign is up. come on in but knock 2 times first. Ours always did this did this. Just be nice in the beginning and tell them what you want and things usually work out. :)

Just wondering when the new menu will roll out, I myself wouldn't mind having a go at it. :)
