Temps are not bad around here but the wind has been crazy. It’s supposed to decrease somewhat tomorrow, hope so because I’d love to get outside to start planning and visualizing some landscaping. We had a nice brunch yesterday at our middle daughter’s house and youngest daughter came too. Our SIL had cooked a corned beef the night before in the crockpot, then he made corned beef hash on his outdoor griddle- it was to die for! Andy was in charge of eggs cooked to order. Our youngest brought fruit salad and the makings for Mimosa’s and Bloody Mary’s. I came home and took a nap in the afternoon - I’m not sure if that was due to being fatigued from my booster or due to Mimosa’s !

Sorry to hear your oldest is also sick! I hope she starts feeling better soon. Our oldest still has the sniffles, no more headache. The two grandsons are fine. SIL & middle grandson are still negative.

Similar to what Arzeena mentioned, we had a short time in port. The excursion left Tortola at 7 am, I seem to remember it taking about 45 minutes to get to White Bay. We exited the catamaran directly into shallow water (soggy dollars!). No food was included and we left JVD around 11:30 am so it was definitely not long enough. I found the name of the charter - Rebel Yell. Not sure if this is who Royal uses.

Happy Mother’s Day everyone 💐🌺! My oldest daughter’s is not so happy, 3 out of the 5 of them tested positive yesterday 🥴. Her, the 10 yr old & the 4 yr old. The 4 yr old has no symptoms, my daughter and the 10 yr old have headaches & very thirsty. SIL and my 8 yr old grandson are negative, for now.

We did a catamaran excursion, thru NCL. I don’t recall the name but it was a very recognizable one and it was so much fun, lots of rum punch flowing on the trip back to the ship.

You will not be disappointed in JVD. we may have to take a look at this cruise too Greg. St a roux would be new to us.

Sorry to hear you & Lisa tested positive and have felt so crummy. Hope you’re on the mend now. How odd that neither of you caught it from Owen! I had my 2nd booster yesterday, so far no side effects 🤞

My only experience with jury duty was about 8 years ago. The case was a teenager accusing a family friend of sexual assault. My number was chosen and during the questioning (I guess that’s the voir dire?), they asked each of us to say a bit about ourselves, such as employment history, marital status, children, etc. I thought for sure I’d be excused when I stayed I had 3 daughters but I was not. Sat through the trial which lasted a day and a half, only to have my number chosen as the alternate so I never did have any input in the outcome of the case and never knew what happened. It was a fascinating experience though.

It’s a typical New England spring day here. Cool, damp & chilly with temps only in the 50’s all weekend. Then next week we have our usual spring jump from 50’s up to mid to high 70’s. Gotta have winter & summer clothes at the ready!

Thanks for sharing that the new Bosch will be streaming on Prime. It’s been advertised to be on IMDBtv and I was frustrated that we’d have to get yet another channel. It’ll be interesting to see young Harry being played by Titus Welliver’s son.
