For sure! I can't remember all of the mixtures, but I love the Lemoncello as well as the Cinnamon Toast Crunch!!! I have all of the glasses except the one that lights up - just didn't want that one. They serve that one on the last night of the cruise. I need another yellow one, so I'll get that one hopefully in May - it's good to have goals you know!

When I travel solo, I like to use the extra bed as a place to lay out my clothes or just as an extra flat space to store stuff as someone else mentioned. You can always try it one way. If you don't like it, have your steward adjust it for you. Have a good time!

So Platinum/Diamond can no longer drop off luggage prior to 1:30 PM? When did this change? I guess I missed that little tidbit of info since we last cruised with CCL in December.

Odds are slim to none of getting a room next week I would think. It's Spring Break for many people. And even if the cabin was free, no way would I cruise during SB again. Did it once - NEVER gain.

Same for us for Alaska, New England and Pacific Coastal cruises. Very well behaved people (and some of these were CCL cruises). We have cruised with CCL more than any other line, but once all of our "lift and shift" cruises from COVID are done, we won't be cruising with them as often for sure, especially in the Caribbean, for the reasons the OP has pointed out.

The photo of the prices posted by arizonaperson are the prices we had on Ruby 2 weeks ago. If they've increased, it's been since our February 5 sailing. The only item from the International Cafe I was very disappointed in was iced coffee. They pour piping hot coffee over ice, which only gives you sort of warm coffee. I put it in the fridge and finished it later that day. Everything else was good - our favorite coffee item was definitely the Salted Caramel Swirl. 👍

Perhaps $31 is the amount before the gratuities? We were on Ruby two weeks ago and it was $36.58, which included the gratuities (18%). I sure hope they keep the grounds package - we LOVED IT!!!

Spot on answer! We've been to AK 5 times, always in an inside cabin since we spend very little time in there. We go up on deck - and we are more often than not standing beside people who have a balcony cabin - LOL!

Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice - taste just like cinnamon whiskey (w/o the buzz of course LOL!) Really good!

Had the Grounds Coffee Package 2 weeks ago on Ruby - absolutely loved it!!! We will definitely purchase again. Our cabin was also just steps from the International Cafe, so that was an extra bonus! I loved one of the specialy teas so much that I've just ordered a box of it online.

Considering this for our upcoming Glory cruise. Are beach vendors a problem there at Isla Pasion?

You can request they be delivered to your cabin via the Medallion app.

FWIW: I ordered our Medallions in January. No shipping charges, and we are not Elite, and we booked at the standard rate. Seems there's no consistency. I was glad we had our Medallions when we arrived at the terminal however. We never had to show our phone or any paperwork other than our passports. I did see people at the counter waiting for their Medallions. I'm not a fan of the app, especially the Journey part. Too hard to look at what's going on around the ship. Would also like to see open/close times for ship venues like CCL & RCCL both have on their apps. Glad we were able to get a copy of the Patter each day. PCL just needs to scrap this app and start over IMHO. Happy cruising! And I'm SO THANKFUL we are cruising again!! ♥️

Just returned from the Ruby and have a Medallion question I'm sure someone can answer. We had an erroneous charge show up on our account - a charge from one of the bars. We never purchased drinks on this cruise. Our only purchases were for one gift shop item and having the gratuities added to our onboard account. My only guess is that I happened to be walking by this bar, my account popped up on the computer, and the bartender charged it to my account by mistake. Guest Services kindly removed the charge. Is there a way to prevent this from happening, such as keeping your Medallion in an RFID wallet to prevent the signal from transmitting to the computers? I heard other passengers commnent that they were having to keep an eye on their daily charges as well. And maybe I'm way off base as to how the Medallion connects to the computer - LOL!

Same here!!! 😁 We were on the Ruby last week. We only went to the Platinum/Elite lounge one night since our dinner was at 5PM, and by the time we were done, we were too full to enjoy any of the food. But it is a nice quiet area to go to for snacks & drinks. We appreciate that PCL still offers this.

Exact same experience for us on Ruby boarding on 2/5 out of Galveston. I had my phone app and papers ready, but the only items needed were our Medallions and passports. Super easy!

Just off the 2/5 sailing - showerhead was fixed. However, I overheard another passenger say that you can have it switched out to a handheld version for your cruise - just ask your steward. This was our first PCL cruise since the restart, and we had forgotten how much we love sailing with them!!
