  1. You need to fill out your set sail pass info, which will then give you options of check into terminal time slot. I did mine very early and received noon...my sister received 12:30. I think those later check in times may be due to ship not leaving until 8pm.
  2. There is a difference between boarding and check in. If you have a check in time of 1:30...that is when you check in to the terminal ...not when you board.
  3. Indeed...lately we of the seasoned warriors .....have made a lot of lemonade. 😉
  4. I wouldn't have any problem doing Giovanni's for lunch versus Chops...and I know my sister would love it as well. 🙂
  5. Please give us the update later! Enjoy your cruise on one of my favorite new ships! 🥰
  6. Still have the classics here on Jewel. But when I ordered my back up plan (Salmon)....unfortunately it was very fishy. Bucky's Caesar salad was so tiny, a mouse would have gone hungry. 😮
  7. So called "Pinnie Event" on Jewel right now is simply an overflow from the DL...which means all Diamonds, D+, and Pinnies eat from the same buffet in the tiny DL...having the back door open to the VCL. Lots of growling going on in there....like Lions to the kill. 😄
  8. I had that on this sailing before I boarded. It only showed me the Vegan menu for 1st night...go figure. 😉
  9. Most definitely have not seen that on any ship. Sorry. Tough enough it seems for them to keep many of the normally listed wines in stock. At least they sent the correct wines from my profile to our cabin upon embarkation...I was totally shocked!
  10. All I know is that I have written confirmation of the prepaid embarkation lunch for the four...listed as Chops. Will be on the ship two week prior to that lunch, so will ask.
  11. Our cards worked in the CL...go figure. But the LA quickly told us once she verified we were JS, that Pinnies not allowed. She told us 61 Pinnies on board this next 8 nights. Pinnacle "event" is a total joke. Supposedly a "private event for Pinnacles" is simply an overflow into the VCL for the Diamond lounge.
  12. I seem to be doing OK right now...though time will tell over the next 8 days.
  13. Same here on several occasions. Eat what you like. 🙂
  14. Total confusion at the port for parking and luggage drop off. They ended up sending us to T5 (since we are coming back to that terminal). Menu was the same as usual for dinner tonight....though quite a bit smaller portions.
  15. Same old menu....but quite a bit of cutting back on portions and quality....so far anyway.
  16. Welcome back John. I noticed on the webcam that your ship came in pretty early. Leaving for the port in an hour or so for my turn. 🙂
  17. We will be right next door on Jewel at T6. Apparently RCI is "renting" that space from Carnival due to having an unusual 3 RCI ships in port today. We are B2B coming back for TAD to T5, then again off the second leg to T5. At least we are withing walking distance of both terminals. But does make me wonder where they will park those of us on Jewel...assuming T6 then have to walk over from T5 when we come back in. At least indeed.....better than that shuttling over. 😮
  18. Leaving for the port in a couple of hours to board Jewel in PC. Will be interesting to see if anything has changed.
  19. Actually have never done one of the embarkation lunches myself, but am doing it as another birthday gift to my sister as a surprise indeed. 😉 We seem to be hit and miss on the TAD lunches...but have enjoyed a few of them.
  20. We will be doing the (assuming they offer it) consecutive cruisers lunch after leg one...but will opt out to do the lunch in Chops (which I prepaid for online) as a treat to my sister who is boarding on leg 3 to celebrate her birthday. A little more special than the WJ. 😉
  21. Ahhh...got my butter flavored protein mixed up. 😄
  22. Wasn't that butter chicken the subject of a lot of jokes on CC a few years ago?
  23. I know what you are getting for Christmas! 😄
