  1. They made Bucky a killer banana split from the kids menu in CK on Harmony one day. OMG....it was huge, and most of the staff was giggling about it as they brought it out. 😄
  2. Will be doing Chops for breakfast for three weeks, beginning the end of this month. Though we do have an embarkation lunch (for when my sister joins us) in Chops. Hope we have better success...it will still be more relaxing than the craziness in the WJ on embarkation day. 😮
  3. That is where I keep getting conflicting information. I know you pay as you leave if parking at #5...but others have reported paying in advance at #6. Guess I will find out in the morning, and will update.
  4. Just finished packing....boarding in the morning. 🙂
  5. It was the same thing on Serenade as well.
  6. I am trying to practice for tighter quarters now....have the WC coming up in a regular balcony cabin. 😮
  7. I am usually in there just after 6 am after my early morning walk. Usually no one in there on sister ship Serenade. Though never seemed to be refilled with milk. 😞
  8. Indeed...we never come close to using our 6 per vouchers. I just am not happy about the coffee machines always being down in the lounges. Need new equipment...or better maintenance. I do love the new voucher program, and thus do not use the lounges for happy hour any longer. (Too noisy, too much chair hogging, too much politics, and too much "attitude" for me).
  9. LOL...yes, we tried those subs of scallops for the snails....IMHO...yuck! Nasty fishy! 🐟 Mac and cheese....yup Dave...just like your bro...chicken fingers (kids at heart). 😄
  10. Hmmmm.....Me thinks something is fishy....and it's not the sea. OK...no more free unlimited drinks in the lounges, and now...coffee...Hah! Go fish!
  11. Thanks! Doing Izumi for my sister's birthday dinner...her choice. Happy to know it is good. 🙂
  12. Still want to know if T#6 is different. Prepay as you enter?, which sure makes more sense. As in T#1. Takes care of the clog up that they have at #5.
  13. We just love the atmosphere and the quieter venue in CK. Not to mention, they remember what your likes and tastes are. Guess we are not that much of high end foodies. 😉
  14. Bucky enjoys the chicken fingers also. 😉
  15. Yup, "improvements" and "enhancements" most definitely code names for cost cutting. 😠 There goes my beloved classic Salmon and Bucky's Strip Streak. 😫
  16. I would also like to know the answer to that question. Though we will be next door at T#6 on Friday to board Jewel (due to Mariner occupying T#5 that day). Can't seem to get a confirmation on T#6 set up...but I think that one may be different being a pay as you enter? And also may not get parking inside the smaller T#6 garage (due to Carnival pax in there before we get there).
  17. LOL...yes we tip quite generously also. But we always seem to find something to eat in CK. Bucky will quite often wander into the WJ for some cookies or other chocolate goodies later though. 😉
  18. We are Pinnie, but usually only do JS on the smaller ships, which fits us just fine. Oasis/Quantum we will do GS and above.
  19. Interesting you have Pinnie non suite access to SL with 39 on board. I was bummed at the 30 threshold on Serenade...though I would only use the CL for coffee if it was available to us anyway (especially with the coffee machine being unreliable in the DL). I also liked running into the DL for a double shot espresso to bring to our bartender in the VCL to make espresso martinis for me at happy hour. 😄 Wonder how many of us will be on this coming Friday. I know of four of them. 😉
  20. Mmmm...coconut Latte...sounds yummy! Thanks for the suggestion! 😋
  21. Remember years ago when the snails were only offered during one of the nights or two? And it was never a guarantee they would be offered at all. Your bro was bummed....but now he is actually doing more shrimp cocktail after too many "meh-bad" snails in the last few months. MDR (IMHO) actually has more variety than CK or the specialty restaurants. Like you...we don't go hungry. 😉
