Have not been in the food service business for years...but it indeed was Blue Bell. I hope it is still that brand. 🙂 I sold a lot of it!

Galley tour??!! 😮 Oh no..no..no!! Reminds me too much of the stressful job I had with being a territory manager selling food to restaurants.

I retired from US Foodservice. Our commercial division sold Blue Bell to RCI for many years. The hospitals and nursing homes I had as customers loved it too. 🙂

When I grew up as a kid in Michigan, our neighbors had an Asparagus field near us. We had a long gravel driveway next to it. Lots of seeds would blow into the sides of the driveway when it was done for the season. Naturally the next spring...wow...lots of fresh young Asparagus. The parents would drop my sister and I off at the road to walk the 1/2 mile driveway home, picking the fresh young stalks that sprang up along side of it. Mmmm...talk about fresh for dinner!

Now I have been known to munch on a piece of cold pizza....and even lick the spoon when making cookie dough....but still can't gather my brain around cold pop tarts. 😉 😄

Found that for breakfast in the WJ on a ship one time (can't remember which one). Tried it...umm...not my style...but I did try it!

We don't have ice cream very often at home...but neither of us find anything wrong with RCI's ice cream. Guessing either Blue Bell....or Blue Bunny?

Uh-oh...you just hit on the "bachelorette" menu I have on the rare times Bucky is gone. Chicken livers and onions...Mmmmm..... And I do love asparagus. Now tripe, haggis, and kidneys....will keep that opinion for when I meet those items. Always up to try something new. 😄

And hmmmm...I guessing a nice mug of beer to go with that mac and cheese? 😉

I have never been scared of food. 😄

Oh no...another one that needs to walk the plank!! 😄 😄 I have a nice Sauvignon Blanc with my Vegan selections....is that allowed I wonder? ☺️

We do "Impossible Burgers" at home. Love them...though it took Bucky awhile to get used to them. He does like his "cow" in reality when he can get it. He is a steak guy for sure. We don't eat steaks at home, but I will munch on one on occasion with him on the ship. 😉 Me...I love fish and chicken.

Naturally you won't be asked to walk the plank if you get something from the Vegan selection, to add to your "carnivore" entre. 😄

Interesting...and very nice to do so for true Vegans. I actually have fun scrolling through the menu the morning before to see "What's for dinner" on the app. 🙂

I have just recently, the last few months, discovered the Vegan menu (thank you app!)....which is never printed on the MDR menus. Not that I am a Vegan...but I have found a few things that were pretty good, and fun to try something new. 🙂 And something that Bucky does not have to roll his eyes up and go "eww" at if I were to "try this at home". 😉

LOL...I book GS and above when on a ship with a CK. Pin heads have nothing to do with it. It's the one way I can be sure to have access...works for me. 😉

IMHO.. ..what I think is way more embarrassing and piggy (and should be for those types) ....are the pax that think they have to "eat their money's worth" at the WJ. They walk to their table with overflowing mountains of food and then leave half of it behind...perhaps to get a new selection for round #2. Terrible waste. Simple to try a just a few things, then if you are still hungry, go back for a bit more.

I think that will be on Bucky's "to do" list for next week. 😄

LOL...can't access that reservation at all. A bit of a different voyage....all requests of any kind have to go through special WC reps on the phone, even to pay it off. I have tried about once a month to see if anything was available to upgrade. Answer is always no. Can't even get traditional dining...all MTD.

We are "single leggers" booking just first leg and last leg (though each leg is 62 nights long 😮 ). By the time they released the single legs for available booking .....weeks after they opened it to the full 274 day pax....all the suites from JS and up were gone. Even the regular balconies above deck 8...gone. Oh well, saves me some $$. 😉
