  1. Many years ago, we adored the pasta class, which was set up in the old Portofinos. Especially on long cruises/TAs.....would be a nice thing to do on a sea day. We also enjoyed the sushi class on the smaller ships....not impressed with the last one on Harmony (pre-Covid). We all had to share rolling mats, they short changed us on many of the food items, and never brought water to the table. 😞 And yes...there is a cost....of course. 😉
  2. Agree there. It's the way the Centrum is built...like a large chimney. 😮 Freedom and Voyager class ships have that open spiral staircase coming up from the casino in the Promenade...but it's not as noticeable...IMHO. Though still should not be open. I just don't know why RCI won't put doors on the casinos. Must be reason I am missing.
  3. Due to going to CK over the years, noticed the same thing. And actually a more relaxing (and quieter) environment, not many bother to dress to the nines. I guess that is when we started leaving the tux and cocktail dress home. 😉 Especially helpful for suitcase space on the B2Bs. 🙂
  4. No apology needed. 😉 Like minds thinking alike. 🙂
  5. I actually find those to be some of the most comfortable to sit in, and especially like being able to use the foot stool. And yes, I have brought a pillow out there sometimes, but mostly to be able to see over the annoying eye level railing when you are seating that low. 😉
  6. Look at the hooks in the back of the chair in that photo. Yes, they recline...but only just so far. Not flat like a lounger.
  7. We did this one, also wonderful time and highly recommend. We had "Captain Tony" for our tour, he was fantastic and sooo funny! One of the restaurants we went to, we started revisiting for lunch when in town. 🙂 https://www.trubahamianfoodtours.com/
  8. There was something about chicken wings I remember as well. 😉
  9. LOL...my formal attire on 10/31 will be just a tad different than usual. 😄 😄
  10. We do quite a few of them. Opportunity to taste local flavors, a nice walk (or island tour), and lots of history. Most of the tour leaders are obviously very proud of their City/Island. 🙂
  11. Only bad thing I can think of....is the smoke in the Centrum during sea days or at night. For some reason, RCI does not put doors on the casinos...which is a large opening right next to the Centrum. That smoke billows out and up and all through the floors of the Centrum like a chimney. 🤢
  12. That is what we do. Always travel with our coffee mugs. No spilling, keeps warm, and easier to bring back to the cabin. And of course doing the same as you...fill the paper cup, then pour in to mug. Had to stop one crew member on EX that was trying to "help" while he was setting up in the CL. He grabbed my mug to fill it for me, but I told him about the paper cup transfer. His answer..."Oh it's Ok, doesn't matter". Ughh...
  13. And we just outside being peons at the VCL while you were enjoying those snacks. Oh no...we forgot to eat!! 😮 😉
  14. No, we are ABC islands this Mariner cruise. No Bermuda. Interesting though.
  15. Thanks. Bonsai3 and Retired Leo already confirmed that previously. 🙂 It's no matter to me, test or not test for end of first leg. It's the "before you get on the first leg" test I wish was gone.....I know...wishful thinking. 😉
  16. Just a guess, but with less pax/crew to test less often...could possibly mean the teams will be whittled down to just one Med. tech.
  17. I thought that was Jack under the clock....oh that's right...wrong ship, wrong time. 😄
  18. It is nice indeed, though we still get off the ship for a few hours in ports we have been to way too many times....coming back before lunch, and a totally uncrowded atmosphere. Perfect! 🙂
  19. Love...love...love the Radiance ladies...all four of them. Don't really have a favorite, they are all wonderful IMHO. Am on Serenade B2B and Jewel B2B (twice) later this year into 2023. Then on a rather longer trip on Serenade end of 2023. 😉 Reminds of the days of actual elegant cruising. Lots of light, windows, outside WJ seating on the aft, no "amusement park" atmosphere. Not too big...not too small. Just right. 🥰 And those ships can go places the big ladies cannot venture.
