  1. Awww...thanks my friend. The only thing that would make it more perfect...would be to have you and Kathy with us. 🥰
  2. That was not my post...but a cut and paste from Wikipedia. 😉 But I agree with your additions. 😄
  3. Sooo...getting past that...as I stand on my balcony, I am feeling so grateful to be here to watch the world pass by me. So much world out there, so much I will never see in my lifetime. Just so happy to stand by as a witness to the appetizer of what I can view of our beloved planet. Just not enough lifetime to see it all...but damn...I am trying to make an effort of it while I still can. 😊
  4. What is a better word for boring? dull humdrum lifeless monotonous mundane stale stodgy stuffy stupid tame tedious tiresome tiring trite uninteresting.
  5. Pretty much the same as any other cruise. The one thing about trivia is....you can pull a lot of info up from anything. 😉
  6. Not much land to see at all on this sea day, but with the binoculars can just now see a large high point of land/peninsula called Antofagasta. Pulling up info on it, looked like a pretty little harbor near the mountain. Shame we had to miss it. Very arid now, and from the looks of it...next port Arica is very dry and almost desert like. Will be an interesting port...and very hot! From totally cool/cold weather to very hot just like that.
  7. Lunch today at Chops with dear friends Lee and Adida. Such a great time. Our favorite breakfast waiter. On a side not, Ellen came in briefly to say hello. She has a badly pulled muscle in her calf and has not been in for awhile. We miss her.
  8. Yes I did. Thank you! Simply posting real experiences about ships that we encounter along our journey. And yes...I fell in love with that ship at first sight. 😉 Just cannot not help but research each one we associate with as we travel and post info about them. Always find it interesting, and hope others do as well. Love thy neighbor. 😄
  9. Yup, indeed...we both opened our eyes on that cruise. Have been happy with first traditional ever since. Love being able to just walk in and head right to our table...no lines...no waiting. 😉
  10. OOOhhh...my favorite cabin class on Wonder, though GS is always our favorite go to cabin, but it's even better on Wonder. 🥰 Love the location on same floor CK/SL. 🤗 Enjoy your cruise! 🙂
  11. BTW...the four top table they assigned us to last night...was just for the two of us. Bit more "elbow room" there...and very good neighbors. 🥰 Very happy to have the new table and favorite team back now until we disembark in LA. Chops for lunch today, with new good friends Adida and Lee. Yummm! 😋
  12. Current position, with extremely calm waters. Looks more like a lake than the open Pacific! Which made it very easy to spot a huge pod of jumping Spinner Dolphins. Though the little buggers are way too fast for me to get a good picture of them. Great spotting with the binoculars though. 🙂
  13. That's good. We have been sticking to first traditional for a few years ago. It works well for us. Dave knows what I am talking about. 😉
  14. The pair we have....actually are a pair. I doubt they want to split them up. 😉
  15. Kim Crawford SB is back in the Concierge Lounge. 😄 And Oberon Cab is back in the dining room, going well with Boston Cream pie. (Though I don't think the Oberon was ever actually out of stock) , happy we were able to switch wait teams back to our favorite. 🤗 King is royalty in our minds.
  16. LOL...not a lot of safety regulations down here...but they all were wearing those big life jackets. Actually...having to don those for the whole tour...may have made me nervous. 😉
  17. Hmmm...Banks beer...Barbados. Favorite "hole in the wall" little restaurant just down from the cruise terminal. Best fish sandwiches ever! One of the ports we visited before we headed to Central America on WC.
  18. LOL! She looks it! But not...alas...she is King's girl friend. They work sooo well together and are disembarking together in LA as their contract is up. I have been dogging King to be sure to get down on one knee soon, and admonishing him to "don't let her get away". 😉
  19. Looks quite a bit smaller than the Nova? We like small. 🙂 We seem to be getting tired of the larger ships more and more.
  20. LOL....it's actually been a running joke for weeks now with telling Melissa we are adopting her. She even ushers me to the table sometime telling everyone that I am her Mom. 😄 😄
