Yup, John greeted us at the end of the upper tier and wanted to sit together. It was the usual great time with them. 🙂

Agree...especially the Schooner Bar (trivia...loud). Our usual go to bar is the very underutilized VCL bar. Great view, not usually crowded.

Pinnacle "Cheers with an officer". Not busy yet in this picture, but it did fill up pretty well later. Menu: Notice no Lobster. 😉 My steak was not so good...but Bucky's was perfect. Luck of the cow I guess. 😉

Ironically since we made Pinnacle some time ago, we are now booking with other lines for the first time in 20 years. Viking has become our go to cruise line now. And in fact just booked another one on line with Chat a couple of days ago. 😉

That is pretty much the case now...unless you book full suite.

Sigh...indeed so many things are changing, and not for the better. 😞 But we do adore the new voucher program...pretty much coffee in the morning is about the only time I use the lounges. For us, our go to bar is usually the VCL bar to use our vouchers. Any lounge...any time...is happy hour now. 🙂 Was not that many years ago the Diamonds were kicked out of the concierge lounge...then recently D+ and now Pinnacles. Booking a full suite is pretty much the only guarantee to have access to Concierge Lounge or Suite's Lounge.

Just shy of 1500 total pax on this one. Approx. 75% of this sailing is C&A.

It's nice though that they are right across from each other...which equates to if the coffee machine is broken in one lounge...I can transfer over to the next one....unless that one is broken as well. 😣

LOL...and the funny thing is the CL (still named concierge lounge) is never packed up...mostly empty all the time. But I like your idea. 😉 Though the Crown Lounge is nuts...and at 5 pm they open the connecting door to a roped off very large area of the VCL. That is when the noise level increases....and we leave our bar stools at the VCL bar...to head into the Concierge Lounge which much more quiet until dinner at 5:30 😉

Upper tier. Serenade of the seas orchestra...pretty good! Unusual drawing at the end, giving out a bottle of bubbly, dinner certificates, and two hats. Then they ended up giving everyone the same hat as we left. 🙂 Cute!

I am currently on a world cruise, and stupidly forgot to take my vouchers I bought on Vidar. Happy to see the new 2026 TP cruises coming out, and wanted to use my two vouchers. Booking on "chat" the agent was more than happy to look up the vouchers for me and applied to my new cruise. 🥰

Found some really old metal pipes with too much dirt in them on the ship....even had plants growing out of them!! 😮😉

I agree...though have seen posts that they were indeed different. Not sure why they would do that. One D+ on a cruise posted their "surf and turf" was strip steak and shrimp...while the Pinnies got lobster and filet. I will post the menu later today, and hope someone from the other lunch on the 22nd will post one from there.

Me too. But I suppose it makes sense to have those events closer to the beginning.

Good question! Though I am assuming with each of the mini legs? IMHO, would be too redundant if they do those too often.

A shame indeed. We don't use the Crown Lounge, and apparently the same politics going on as before. I detest rude people, and especially the ones that are rude to the crew members.

Day at sea today. Just chillin, eating too much drinking too much today. 😄 Upper tier party at 10:30 am, Cheers with an officer lunch for Pinnacles just after that. 350+ lunch is on the 22nd. Will be interesting to find out what the menu is today.

Bright sunny humid and very warm already this morning at 7:30. Need to get up even earlier for my walks. 😮 Charging up my little solar candles. They work great in the bathroom for a nightlight! 🙂

I put mine inside, as I usually do. But I always take a copy of the single sheet on my phone (used to have duplicate with it). Can't write cabin # on the cloth bag. Though it came back in a paper bag with cabin number on. Sending out another one tomorrow.

LOL...some Dutch beer (can't remember it's name) that Laurie picked up for him. She and I (of course) were drinking Sauvignon Blanc from NZ. Then she and Bucky switched to glasses of Port after lunch. Hit the food trucks next door...good seared Tuna wraps!
