Coastal Kitchen first day lunch
island lady replied to RoperDK's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Another of the cheaper changes that RCI made. A very trimmed down, limited menu for first day lunch in CK. You can still get the kids food, just have to ask for it. Bucky ordered Chicken fingers and a banana split on Wonder first day lunch. 😄 -
OK...everyone put their thinking caps on. Little tour on deck 5 Promenade deck (life boat deck) outside. Found these fully stocked crates all the way forward on port side deck. Any guesses what they contain? Also, a picture of the "washy washy" going on just over the railing (same deck) in these high seas.

Quite the challenge stepping out with the ship rocking back and forth in these rough seas. 😮 One thing I love about a GS cabin, I don't have to take my collapsible wash tub along with me. With the 2 sinks, I use one side for wash, and the other for rinse. Roll up in towels on the bed, then hang to dry on my hook magnets. Method has worked great for me for years now on longer cruises. 🙂

Not this one. Though indeed there are still books (looks like various old donated by pax books) right next to the pool tables. The ones in the picture are brand new on deck 12, where the LA used to be. They put in new comfy chairs and stocked the new circle type library shelf with various novels, all titles with 5-6 duplicates. Must have been quite the Amazon order. 😉

Yes, boil and fry one bag per Pinnacle per week. Not much difference for us, even though offered as WC "perk". We always received that as Pinnies anyway. And WC deluxe drink package?.....we already get the six drinks a day per person. Pretty much the only real difference for perks for full and quarter cruisers are the prepaid grats...though we always tip in extra cash on top of our normally prepaid grats anyway.

World Cruise Casino Question
island lady replied to LadyZolt's topic in Royal Caribbean International
IMHO....it's simply typical of the whole ship. We are far from sold out. The MDR, WJ, lounges, etc. are never packed up. Elevators easy to grab (even though there are only 6 of them mid ship). Theater never packed either...always easy to find seats. -
Wash and Fold sent out this morning, which we fondly call "boil and fry". 😬 But is good for exercise clothes, cotton undies, t-shirts, socks. We don't send out anything that we really care about. 😮 The rest I hand wash, which I just finished. There will be times we will send out wash and press and dry cleaning also. But the wash and hang method works for me, and something to do on a sea day. 😉 Self serve laundry machines in keyed access and only for full WC pax. There are actually very few of them available to the over 600+ full cruisers.
