Agree with L. A. Cruiser….but just a preference for the type of ship 🚢.   Going on emerald princess end of May then again on Caribbean princess in November for two weeks with family from California an the UK.  Can’t wait for either! 

Agreed we definitely prefer the smaller ones…the gem class is our favorites…diamond,emerald,….that class.

Unfortunately I’m getting to the point where my getting around is becoming a problem.  Not needing a  scooter anything like that but just some assistance with things like getting into an out of a tender.  How’s princess with helping those of us like that? Going on emerald princess in May this year.

Thanks 🙏….last cruise 🚢 in December they only did cabin cleanup once…had to ask if you wanted twice.  Nice they are doing twice per day again.

I like steelers 36 approach!  We usually just take our carryon and leave the larger bags for the porters to deal with.  Our carryon usually is only a backpack anyway.  Head over to either upper deck main pool bar or the back deck bar.  First beverage of choice is usually a captain’s bounty.😎

Thanks for your response.  Going on emerald for a short little five day to Cabo end of May so think 🤔 we’ll just give it a try.  Do you know if we can get that after we board for our cruise?

We have not tried this yet so those of you that have experienced both MDR versus Club class dining what is your opinion?

I think 🤔 the crew experience is as subjective as the food….some great others not so much.  

Agreed concentrate on one or two places you want to see and don’t try to pack too much stuff into a couple of days .    Definitely go with a private tour company.

Call princess directly and they’ll link your reservations or contact your travel advisor if you have used one.
Have not seen increasing choices of excursions closer to sail dates.

Private excursions are best getting on your own….lots of on line searching can give you plenty of ideas.

We got TSA precheck a year ago and definitely happy we got it.  As noted most credit cards reimburse for the cost so easy decision.
