Ok great 👍.  When we were on discovery they said it was supposed yo be on that ship first but had problems getting it up and  running so went to discovery first.  Glad to here that it’s there now.  Not to be missed if you get the chance.

Anyone know if other ships have the 360 dining experience than discovery princess?  Or do you know if other ships have it planned for later?   We have been and we think it’s really a great 👍 experience.

Excellent ship.   Daughter was married on one of the Caribbean princess ship cruises.  Going again on her in November for two weeks.

Totally agree 👎.   Will not ever again get a connecting room for all the reasons mentioned.

Those of you who have been on Sky we’re looking for advice on cabin selection.  We usually like aft caribe on the older ships because of the larger balconies and proximity to everything above and below that level .    Currently looking at deck eleven these days.  Thanks 🙏

Have been on discovery twice recently.  We’ve enjoyed the bistro ser la mer first night.  Ask for a window seat or something close.  Staff very accommodating…food excellent in our opinion.   If you get a chance try to get into the 360 dining experience.  Nothing like it….usually reserved for suite guests but go to pursers desk and see what they can do for you.  Well worth any difficulties it takes to get into it.  Helps if you have an inside contact as well.

Just off discovery….did not go to MDR…bistro ser la  mer and was very good 👍.  360 dining experience is hard to describe…absolutely fantastic.  Food is always so dependent on the person’s choice of what they like.  We have always found something to like somewhere on board.

How to sign up for karaoke on discovery princess for December 17 cruise?

We used EZ once and going forward will just book directly with the airline.  Problems with all segments as noted. Because it’s a bulk purchase the tickets are not purchased until just before travel.  Yes it’s less costly but ultimately there’s a price for that.  Not for everyone but we like to do it ourselves.

We have dined there once and were quite happy with the experience. Did not like the location next to the piazza and public walkway.  Have scheduled a dinner there again on our upcoming December cruise on discovery princess. Will try to get a table further away from the piazza and public walkway.

Agreed..the wheelhouse bas as we know it is a thing of the past.  We really enjoyed that but princess seemed to change so many of the venues that were so nice.  Its now just a seating area next to the walkway going past the crown grill.

Alas vines has also gone by the wayside.
