You’re absolutely correct…there are drug sniffing dogs and all the ports are very strict about not bringing food off the ship.  There’s no excuse for disrespecting another countries rules about that as well as ship 🚢 rules.  80 year old mother has  some learning still.

Ok pathi.   We have been to Mexico on several princess cruises with one coming up May this year on emerald princess.   Never felt uncomfortable with any of the places that we’ve been.

Both ships are our favorite layouts.  Crews change but ships don’t.  Agreed that deck ten is the best for balcony size.   Don’t care for aft balcony but that’s an individual preference.  Won’t go wrong with either one.   We’re going on emerald in May which is essentially identical to both ships mentioned.

Really nice that you’re trying to be respectful of others…so refreshing in these days.  Totally agree with Rick and Jeannie.  Just get there and let the cruise staff sort it out.  No one should give you any grief about that…I for one wouldn’t.  Happy to have you all on a cruise!👍😁

Why press yourself for time?  Give yourself some leeway.

We prefer to book earlier because we want a specific cabin and deck as well as location on deck so we get what we want.   Ya just gotta make sure you tell them no upgrade because what princess considers an upgrade may not be an upgrade for you.

Have done both…stay on ship and get off for custom clearance.   Usually no issues if staying in your same cabin….same here we just tell steward don’t worry about doing anything with our cabin that day.

Good advice about the clothes hangers…I usually just squeeze them together some clothes on them so they don’t bang together.  Have always brought earplugs.

Agree generally the external noise is not an issue except for totally clueless passengers who will stand directly outside the cabin door and talk loudly as if they are the only ones around.   

Yes I’m suddenly having problems as well 😡😞.   For the amount of money 💴 that we all pay………

Go for it as you can….make whatever adjustments needed….cruising is so enjoyable it takes your mind off the difficulties.   There’s so much assistance available on whatever level needed.

Doesn’t matter….pay the extra fee if there’s one…so totally worth the cost for the experience!
