You get the points for the cabin you were booked in not the one you stay in after changing on the ship.

Just not getting it

I'd actually have a shot at making Pinnacle of I received all the points for the cabins that the kids sailed in but I paid for

Find the next sailing that is doing the same itinerary as yours. Change the app to that sailing and once it sails then the app will be accurate

Do not hold your breath hoping...

Like Ellen said, the people who are in the JS at boarding will get the double points. Nothing guests services does will change that. You will have to sacrifice the points for playing around with the names to get a better deal financially.

You don't have to worry about booking shows in advance on that ship. It will be general admission on board for all the shows. Here's a tip, download the app and then change the ship an sail date to the current sailing to see the actual cruise planner with the daily list of activities. Even better is to do that for a 5 day sailing and it will give you a real close proximation as to when different things will be scheduled.

It wont make a difference. the elevators are in their own separate area and there is a doorway appx 4 to 5 feet wide into the passenger corridor As far as restaurants the cabins are in their own hallway. You wont hear noise form the hall let alone beyond the wall on the other side. Even from the hallway you cannot hear noise form the restaurants

They would all be the exact same with the exception of 8164 and 8574 which are connecting. avoid those 2

Platinum is a tier in the Crown and Anchor program and gets you nothing for the casino. You would need to know your casino level to determine what casino perks you get. Platinum wont really get you much on board with Royal. A small discount off the internet a coupe coupons for a % off some drinks.
