  1. Don't think of cruising by itself, think of all the different ferry services and river cruises that could suddenly be owned by foreign corporations.
  2. But there is a stop in Hawaii in between. If they did not board in Sydney but instead boarded in Hawaii and sailed Hawaii to Vancouver and then Vancouver to Seattle that cruise would be in violation of the pvsa as it would be seen as a cruise from Hawaii to Seattle. The stop in Vancouver is irrelevant. The only thing that matters in determining if a cruise is PVSA compliant is the initial embarkation port and the final debarkation port
  3. Sailings leaving before March 7 should qualify
  4. Vancouver is irrelevant. It I'd only your initial embarkation port that matters.
  5. Pvsa only applies to cruises where your original embarkation is a US port.
  6. Starting in Sydney you can stay on and end whenever you like at whatever port. The PVSA only applies to cruises starting from a US port.
  7. Any sailings that are not holidays, March break, or summer should qualify.
  8. Watch the deployment thread. New itineraries will be released starting in November and December of this year. Next cruise won't know a thing.
  9. Sometimes their hands are tied by maximum lengths of times between drydocks and drydock schedules so they have no choice. Somehow I think they caught a break and were able to reschedule
  10. Royal will issue a full refund up until their final payment date irregardless of when your TA requires final paymrmt.
  11. The penalty only applies to cruise fare. Taxes and fees, gratuities and cruise planner items are always refunded in full.
  12. Every single invoice I have ever received for myself or clients has this right below the pricing.
  13. Another vote for the CLS over the OS. If you are lucky enough and there is still the 2 Bdrm GS then go for that if price comparable but there's only a couple of those on the ship and they go quick
  14. Thst means taking 2 weeks vacation...not an option for the majority of people. Flights aren't actually that bad just inconvenient times.
  15. Don't wait any longer, had you sent an e mail last Sunday like I suggested this entire issue would have been resolved by now.
  16. The Alaska cruises that can be cheap are the one way sailings out if Vancouver on the Radiance. Round trip cruises from Seattle on the newer ships are definitely not cheap.
  17. Same wall.as every other cabin on the ship. Any noise would come through the door and depending on how tight it seals could add some additional noise. A large part will depend on who is in the other connecting cabin.
  18. There are 4 aft facing balconies on deck 9 that are double occupancy cabins. The rest of the cabins on decks 6 through 10 are all triple or quad occupancy
  19. I've brought half a dozen back in Nassau and never questioned
  20. Because I received the email from Royal. Trust me, I've been through this probably close to a fifty times and their reps are alwsys the last to know. Always wait 2 days before calling. E mail comes from yhe same address that it always does and is written as it always is.
