    Because the cruise line is under no obligation to return it.

    Port fees and taxes includes charges from your embarkation and debarkation port which make up the bulk of the fees. Bahamas tax as I mentioned was no more than $20 pp

    The price that Royal Caribbean sets for the cruise is the price that they will sell it for. It's not like you can call up and ask for a discount.

    I provided one logical explanation. I would be more than happy to hear any explanations that you have. BTW, with how tight they have some of these schedules even something that causes a small reduction of speed that poses zero risk to safety can play havoc with being able to maintain the schedules.

    Nope. Letter direct from the executive office. It is up to the individual ship as to whether it gets refunded or not.

    The Flyer cane out Monday I believe and said the new rates would be available for the 26th and 17th. The rates (at least for Wonder) did not appear until mid afternoon and even then there was very limited qtys. available. You basically had to sis and refresh your browser all day if you wanted one of those rates.

    Just curious as to why merging would be a benefit. You already get reciprocal status. Most have nothing to gain by a merge.

    I received a couple notifications and they have skipped a port on each one. Something must be up with Anthems propulsion system. They have been doing these same itineraries for years without issue.

    Never had that happen anytime I have done this for clients in the last 5 years. I they try to hang up and call back to get a more experienced agent.

    My kids got stuck on it in 2011. Doesn't appear that Royal is in a hurry to fix it.
