The tree is up, so far we haven’t had any climbing, time will tell. @Crazy For Cats, Jake I’m so glad the vet visit went well. We have an appointment on Monday for Trouble for a wellness visit He gets a sedative before the visit. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Maureen, I haven’t parked directly at PHL but I used to drive and park at one of the airport hotels. Try searching for Park, sleep and fly plans for PHL hotels. The hotels used to be about 15 minutes away . The hotels used a shuttle for pickup and drop off.

I just read on Sky news that a herd of reindeer blocked a road in Suffolk England for a time this afternoon. I guess Santa is sending out an early reconnaissance mission. @grapau27, is this close to you?

Good cloudy and cold morning.It’s a very good day because yesterday afternoon Tee Tee somehow got out the kitchen door. We didn’t miss him right away since he likes to hide upstairs .Early this morning DB saw him at the side window and then he ran to the kitchen door, opened the door and he came right in and headed for food. Good cold and starting to rain afternoon. It was warmer in Juneau than it was here this morning. Yesterday I supposed a small family greenhouse in Strasburg for a wreath and porch planter. Good sunny afternoon. Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate today. Our dinner today was at the Hotel Hershey. This is the first time in 4 years that they are having a holiday buffet. It was not quite as elaborate as before but still very nice. Starting in January, they are resuming the Sunday brunch buffet. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Good chilly Thanksgiving Eve . Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, they were much appreciated. DB took me out to dinner at Longhorn steak house and we had a small cake when we got home. I hope everyone celebrating tomorrow has a blessed and wonderful day with your family and friends.

Good cold and sunny afternoon. Heavy rain is expected tomorrow afternoon and evening. The turkey dinner on Saturday was delicious and even had a slice of baked ham in the container. I like peanut butter fudge, but prefer chocolate. Wednesday is my birthday and it’s a milestone, I can’t believe I’m turning 70. Some days I feel older than that. I never really felt like this on other milestones. It’s hard to believe it was 60 years ago that JFK died. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Good afternoon, we’re back from picking up the turkey dinners. We got in line about 20 minutes before 3 and there was already about 20 cars before us. The car smells so good. Just like @0106, we have several local orchards that make their own ciders. We were there yesterday and got some pear cider.

Good chilly and cloudy morning. I went to a local church Christmas bazaar to get some cookies, they make the best sand tarts and assorted cookies. Also, got some catnip mice for the kids. This afternoon we plan to go to a drive thru turkey dinner at a fire company in Stevens , Lancaster county. The meal is by donation only, I’m sure the fireman’s boot will be overflowing. I know Yoders well. If you’re ever there on your birthday, they also offer a free meal (buffet). I might try it out on Wednesday, it’s not as crowded as SM.

It was a nice day today but cooler tomorrow. @Crazy For Cats, Jake , not sure when you’re heading this way, but I just wanted to let you know that Shady Maple has mincemeat pies available in the bakery. There’s also Sunnyside pastries located 2 miles north on route 897 from SM . I hope everyone has had a good day.

Good cold and sunny morning. Remembrance Day is so important to acknowledge. I’ve been in the United Kingdom several times and remember being on a train and having it stop at 11:00 for the 2 minutes of silence.
