  1. It's not useless if it's funny or interesting in my opinion! 🙂
  2. Figures coming from an old salt. 🙂
  3. Flexibility of rules is probably dependent on bookings. If bookings are low, more flexibility. Just thinking out loud.
  4. A nice can of sardines soaked in oil will help for both seasickness and piles. 🤪
  5. If the price drops you can always re-price it.
  6. Oh, I didn't know they had pricing based on tier. I'll have to check that out.
  7. My point was at booking. I thought Cruise planner is after you book. I would like to see the prices up front.
  8. Nope. Not for me. I don't see where you can add drinks or WiFi separately. Perhaps that's only in the UK?
  9. LOL. I wouldn't have known it was crummy because I don't use it. I cruise to get away from everything ... including on-line.
  10. I wish they would have the booking options like they did a couple years ago where you just add on the options you want at booking time. I could care less about wifi but have to include it in the all-inclusive price.
  11. Agreed, but I think everybody knows that. "Free" is a lot easier to type than "no additional charge" LOL
  12. Years ago we used to book B2B on Royal out of PR as they had two totally different itineraries every other week so there was no repeat. Now they do the same one over and over again so it's not worth going down there for a B2B anymore
  13. Conversations in real life often stray from the original theme. It makes life interesting. I don't mind. Thanks Bleueyes44.
  14. Windjammer burgers are not very good in my opinion.
  15. I know Johnny Rockets isn't free but it's not too bad of an upcharge. Burgers are great as well as the fries and onion rings. Don't forget that the sundae is included too.
  16. Good ideas. Personally, we book so far in advance (well over a year when prices tend to be lower), we don't worry a lot about the price, and book the cruise we want. Then we monitor the price over the next year and re-book at lower prices through our travel agent.
  17. Thanks for the tip!! We check fairly regularly for all cruises that we've booked and this trick makes it easier. Important to check often when already booked to get the lower price if and when they drop.
  18. I watch movies at home. I don't cruise to watch movies.
  19. I just looked and there is. You don't know how to look for it? Just click on "Find Your Roll Call" above and follow the instructions. Cheers
  20. Interesting. All this time my assumptions were wrong. I guess there's so many ways to measure "tonnage" that all quotes should be taken with a grain of salt. From Wikipedia: Gross tonnage (GT, G.T. or gt) is a nonlinear measure of a ship's overall internal volume. Gross tonnage is different from gross register tonnage.[1] Neither gross tonnage nor gross register tonnage should be confused with measures of mass or weight such as deadweight tonnage or displacement. Gross tonnage, along with net tonnage, was defined by the International Convention on Tonnage Measurement of Ships, 1969, adopted by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) in 1969, and came into force on 18 July 1982. These two measurements replaced gross register tonnage (GRT) and net register tonnage (NRT). Gross tonnage is calculated based on "the moulded volume of all enclosed spaces of the ship" and is used to determine things such as a ship's manning regulations, safety rules, registration fees, and port dues, whereas the older gross register tonnage is a measure of the volume of only certain enclosed spaces.
