Yes, that is usually the only difference, but I was not sure with the designations that were mentioned.
Yeah I’m not sure where the ‘S’ bit is coming from ... which is why I’m thinking they are just ‘N’ and ‘Q’.
-
I cannot find those designations. Can you provide actual stateroom numbers?
I think OP means 'Q' and 'N' ... both are 'Interior Staterooms' so difference is probably only going to be location and deck isn't it?
-
Do we really think that Rhapsody's TAs next year (eastbound in particular) are in Jeopardy??
-
Wait a second...
"The Sugar Beach Candy & Ice Cream Store"
I can't imagine that they would have two ice cream shops on the Promenade. Does this mean:
1. Ben & Jerry's is being removed?
and more importantly
2. Is the Ben & Jerry's sweet being removed?
Nothing seems to mention 'Ben and Jerry's anymore.

I emailed rci other day and they told me that café promenade is also going. I hope they have got this wrong though.
Strange you mention that ... on the revamped deck plans on the RC website(s) all the rumoured changes are showing ... 'sky pad', 'fish n ships', 'Royal theatre' etc. 'Cafe Promenade' no longer shows on the updated deck plans. Maybe it's a mistake but weird that they told you it was going and its gone from the deck plans.
-
What is Playmakers replacing?
I believe it's going to be where the photo shop currently is.
The photo shop is moving down to Deck 3.
-
Are they likely to update the theatre and ice production shows? The same ones have been done for years ... regular cruisers must be bored now of the same shows.
-
Could someone please also confirm the correct 'Restaurant Coordinator' email address please.
Thanks in advance.

After the upgrades, yes.
Yes to both Kids and Adults slides or just Yes to slides?
-
Does anyone know if the slides are just for kids or are there adult ones too?

Hi all.
Im a bit late to the ‘which ship’s sailing where and when’ party this time around.
I’ve skim read (probably badly) and I’m looking for confirmation that the ships in the UK in 2019 are Explorer and Independence??
Are the eastbound TA details out yet?
Thanks.

Thanks Bob and Hoopster95 ... that is a huge help. I was trying to point a friend in the direction of these staterooms.
Sorry ... yes that's why I couldn't see them on the deck plan I was looking at which was for April 2019.
Thanks again.

There are no secret staterooms, but there have been changes in the category names. There is still a J (Superior interior), and a K/L (Large interior).
Thanks Bob.
But they aren’t ‘J’ any more are they? They’ll be ‘2V’ or something won’t they? Or have I got that totally wrong?
On Rhapsody I recall these larger interiors were on deck 8. I’m trying to find them.
-
Hi all.
I'm hoping someone can help.
What happened to the larger interior staterooms on Rhapsody. They used to be in a block on Deck 8. RC don't seem to advertise these as 'Superior Interior' anymore ... do they still exist secretly? Can anyone remember the numbers?
Thanks in advance.

That is 56 days out, correct?
Yes, I believe that is correct.

I am from the UK so this is good to know. I have had problems in the past, often with verbal assurances on board the ship not matching with what happens in practice. On board booking I made last year, I was told I could make a change once only.
On a previous occasion, the ability to make a change was only honoured after a lengthy discussion through Crown and Anchor. Travel agents were useless.
These days, I try and get email confirmation of what I have been told verbally before booking on board. I also keep the marketing literature as evidence.
Good idea.
My partner did seem to think that when we made the booking onboard we were told the reservation was fully changeable right up until payment plus there was the option of 1 price match if there was a price drop. I didn't remember this being said but seems he was right.
-
Hi Folks.
Thanks for the replies. I wanted to see what you guys thought before making the call to RC.
Outcome ... reservation (ship and sailing date) changed - no penalties.
Agent advised reservation was changeable right up until payment date.
For the record I'm in the UK.
-
Simple answer ... NO.
-
Hi all,
I know they say reservations made on board the ship in 'Next Cruise' are changeable but how many times can you make a change to the ship and/or sailing date without penalty prior to making full payment. Is it only once?
Thanks.
-
No surprise really.
As TAs go it was a pretty awful itinerary.

0800 018 2020 rings and is answered, but doesn't say it's RCI. It's an American voice that answers though!
01932 834200 - More for Celebrity but there is an option for RCI and they can transfer you if needed.
01932 834300 – C&A
If you have Skype then ypu can call US freefone numbers....for free!
Thank you.
-
The only other number I see is 0844 493 4005, and that one costs 7p per minute.
No probs. Thank you.
I use that one but quite often a call to RC is never short so was looking for a cheaper option.
Thanks again for the quick reply.
-
I have this one listed :0800 018 2020, not sure if that's the one that has been disconnected.
Hi.
Thanks, yeah that's what I had.
It still works but is now 'Royal Guest Experience'.
-
Hi Folks.
I know there was one but I think it was disconnected.
Is there another one for things like reservations and servicing enquiries?
Thanks in advance.
A Diamond Lounge question
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
Hi all.
Can I just hijack this thread with a quick question rather than start a new one.
Do the Diamond drinks vouchers have a price cap and if so can you just pay the difference if the drink you order is more expensive ... for example my other half loves the ‘chocolate cheesecake martini’ on Indy ... could we get that as a Diamind drink and pay the extra?
Thanks.
