As soon as vaccines are approved for kids, mine will get it.  I expect cruise lines will have their hands forced by the ports as they are now.  We have a Nov 7. cruise.  My concern is if 5+ vaccines are approved in October that we'll have to cancel because there will be no way to get both shots and have 14 days after the 2nd.

I'm with you on this.  We're on Oasis Nov. 7.  The PCR thing is a problem added to that CVS only tests 3 and up.  My son will be a month shy of 3 so we'll have to find a test somewhere.  Worst case scenario is it looks like you can get a rapid PCR test at the Miami airport for a fee.

It looks like most of the Beach Excursions don't have restrictions for our Nov. 7 cruise(St. Thomas/St. Maarten) but some of them have odd age restrictions that I would guess wouldn't be there pre-covid.

I'm more concerned that we have to fly than the cruise itself.  My kids are 5 and 2 as well

We are going on Oasis in November 7.  Since the itinerary stops at St. Thomas I envision an even safer sailing due to St. Thomas rules about vaccinations.  Also Oasis is HUGE and has plenty of outdoor space.  Hopefully they are still sailing at reduced capacity as welI. called about cancelling and didn't like the cancellation policy so we're hoping for the best.  I'm just making sure everything I book(flights, hotels, etc. ) are refundable.

Just received our refund for out March, 29 Carnival Pride cruise.

I filled out their form and chose Refund.  Pretty straight forward.

They called my wife too.  They wanted to know why we wanted a refund.  Still no refund....

I have not received any refund for any portion of my cruise.  If you try to re-submit the form it will tell you they have already received at selection for that booking.

MSC also suspending for 60 days per the MSC board

I had already booked a replacement cruise in June last night, and was trying to get through on the phone to cancel and apply the FCC to that. I'll post back any response I get.

I haven't actually cancelled yet.  I'm hoping Carnival does first.  These steps were in another thread so they were just a suggestion.

Scroll down and click on Booking order and details.

Scroll down and click on View Balance Details.

Scroll down and click on View Cancellation Information.

Click on Cancel Booking.

  Cruising with a baby is fun, but know the limitations.  We are have cruised with our 3 year old twice already(7(NCL) & a 12 day(MSC))  We went when our daughter was 9 months and 1.5.  We are going in April on Carnival Pride with our daughter and our 1 year old son.  I highly recommend the Family Cruising board for tips.  We use the Summer Infant 3D Lite stroller.  Its affordable and durable.  Its fits down the hallways and through the doors on the ships, folds up easily, and has a basket below.  

  Depending on whether your child is potty trained, know that they can't go in the pools with a swim diaper.  We brought a small inflatable pool on our last two, but Carnival does not allow that.  We took turns going to the casino.  We would take them to the kids club during designated times where we could play with her since she was too young for their services.

  Try to keep the nap schedule if possible.  It's not always possible and the stroller is a great napping place too.  Bring extra everything!!! And bring their favorite(small) toys for in the room.

We sailed MSC Divina in 2018.  The Yacht Club was phenomenal.  The ship was the most beautiful I've seen inside.  You will be the minority as most people were European.  I believe the new ship Seaside is different as it caters to Americans.  We've sailed NCL's Haven and the Yacht Club experience was much better.

The inflatable pool is a great thing, however they are banned on Carnival.  We used one on MSC and NCL and the staff loved seeing the baby in the pool.

We are planning on going on Carnival Pride at the end of March.  I haven't booked it yet.  This will be our first time on Carnival.  Is it worth waiting to see what deals they have?  Are the deals consistent over the years or are they always different?
