We had a similar check in time for MSC Divina. We showed up at 11:30am and boarded just fine.

The pool bar also has Gelato so you can get it there as well.
Edit: Just realized you're going to be on Seaside. The pool bar on Divina had gelato.
-
We just got off the Divina. We were able to get drinks and gelato everywhere.

We always use Travel Insured(we get a discount through USAA). Never had to use it, thankfully.

It would also be helpful for all to get an invitation. We unfortunately didn't get one and had no idea when it would be. We happened to see signs for it, but were informed the event was already over. Was kind of bummed since I was one of the top posters in the group

You should have 3 formal nights on an 11 night cruise.
Ours had 2. The first sea day and the last sea day. It looked like there was supposed to be a third but it was crossed out in the Daily.

We just returned from the February 4 sailing. We were in YC so I can't answer all of your questions. There were only 2 gala nights. We didn't see to many people dressed in suits. I wore shirt and tie with khakis. Khakis and polo seemed to be the minimum.
In Panama we did the Two Ocean Railroad Journey. I was a very relaxing and informative excursion. You go from Atlantic to Pacific by train and then board a bus to go back. The bus takes you through Panama City and made a 30 minute shopping stop for souvenirs.
The ship is beautiful. The food was very good. We ate in the buffet a few times. Go all the way to back and you will easily find tables and a great view.

We had a medical emergency. Person and family off to a local hospital.

We are on the Feb. 4 sailing. I don't believe it transits the canal. There is an excursion that does take you through it and a couple others that take you to the canal itself to see boats go through(potentially).

It is not in the area but I'm not sure whether worrying is justified or not

We are planning to walk to Turtle beach from the cruise port in the beginning of February. Should I be re-thinking this plan? Also, would Margaritaville's beach be a better idea(and is it toddler friendly)?

The Divina is a beautiful ship, and my cabin was exactly according to its description last summer. Also, there are lots of photos of specific cabins online. Google your cabin number and maybe you find yours. I was in 12018, and it was awesome! Huge balcony. I think they call it a suite now but it was just considered a Fantastica balcony cabin then. Lots of storage, big bathroom. It was great. Friends had an inside cabin, which was also according to description. They had no complaints.
The Seaside is different from the Divina. In addition, it's a new ship and cabin info is only slowly coming out. In a year or so, it won't be such a mess any more.
Don't be afraid of the Divina! You'll have a wonderful time!
PS I smell a rat, too !
Oh I'm not worried. We're going to be in the Yacht Club which should be fantastic. I just wanted to point out that this post isn't helpful at all to first time MSC cruisers due to extreme lack of information and response from the original poster.

I "Completely" disagree.
How do you disagree? I'm going on Divina in 20 days, my first time with MSC in case you think I'm an apologist. How does this help me? I'm not even sure his 3rd week was on the Divina. How does one "cancel" while on the cruise? Where is this review he/she claims to have written when this is their only post EVER? There is so much missing from this "story" it is ridiculous and where are they to clear any of this up? I smell a rat.

What ship? What sail date? I've been trying to get answers on how to get this package at all. It doesn't show up for me and customer service claims to have no idea what I'm talking about(which seems par for the course on everything).
-
First post ever? Such quality. I'm terrified of going on the Divina now. I'll use this information wisely while on board. LOL
-
Ours were also emailed 30 days out without request. That's crazy....but I hate to say it....it's just as bad here in the US!! So darn frustrating! With that said, MSC just emailed all my doc 30 days out....without me asking for them!!
None of this makes sense!!

How did you purchase this card? I've read about this card but can't seem to find it for purchase and customer service hasn't answered my question regarding it. Our sailing is the MSC Divina but I've seen this card referenced with that ship as well.

Can anyone recommend a travel adapter(220 to 110) that they have used on Divina? Thanks!

You are my hero!!! ;p
Just tried this and it worked. My booking is back and everything looks correct. Thank you a thousand times over!
They wanted me to clear my cookies and i knew that wasn't going to work.
-
My booking is back as well. What I did, and it could just be a coincidence, was log out, click the web check in link on the main page. Once I put the information in my booking showed up and then continued to show up when I logged in normally.

Can anyone see the photos I posted after a cruise a long time ago? I can't see them.
Yours aren't working in either version. I don't know why. I wonder if tapatalk is working for me because I viewed the photos in Tapatalk last night and the photos are cached.
-
The photos work in Tapatalk but not at all in the web version of Cruise Critic.

My wife would like to know what Multilingual trivia is. Does anyone know?
Baby crib or pack and play?

We stayed in a yacht club room on MSC Divina in February and were pleasantly surprised that the pack n play provided was long and narrow and didn't take up as much of the room as we expected.
