I think it is. I rang our celebrity agent yesterday as I was concerned about the same thing. He said it’s under terms & conditions but I’ve not had a chance to check it yet.

I agree the M class penthouse especially the balcony is fantastic. Just looked at the video for PH on Apex. Lack of a decent balcony & no outside dining space for that money. No chance I’d pay for it. I’d stick to R/S or CS or cruise on M or S class.

We have never gone to lunch/dinner with the officers as we travel with our children & they obviously weren’t invited. Husband worked away a lot so it’s our time to regroup as a family. We’ve done the tours, bridge, sail outs as the children were invited. Our last PH experience was not as good as our previous one. Think it depends on the butler. It wasn’t bad or anything just not as good. Our previous butler seemed to know what we wanted before we did!

I wonder if that may be a legal matter. If they aren’t a true balcony then perhaps they cannot be marketed as such without falling foul of advertising law. Apologies if someone has already said this as I’ll have missed it. I like a proper balcony as I’m an early riser & will sit on it with a coffee. I already know I’ll be disappointed with the CS/RS balcony however I hope the retreat will make up for it. If not I’ll stick to M or S class.

We are booked in CS on Apex & considering move up bid to RS even not available. However the balcony size is putting me off. Have only stayed in PH before so have been thoroughly spoilt. Can no longer justify the huge cost. EV out of the question due to mobility issues but we do like the extra perks. If it was a bigger balcony I wouldn’t hesitate….. I also can’t believe that Celebrity have reduced balcony sizes & I’m not sure retreat deck will make up for it. Sailing for itinerary this time rather than ship.

If any of you get the chance do visit the Byzantine Museum near the Hilton. Exquisite icons & lovely museum. Probably one of my favourite places in Athens. And yes the view from the bar is super.

What port tours are offered for Limassol? (Note how it’s spelt!) I know Limassol well but not the port area. I’ve seen Spanos recommended for excursions on other threads https://www.spanosbusescyprus.com/ so you can look here. Please note I’ve not been with him though as I have my own car in Cyprus.

Thank you we are indeed in a CS as couldn’t justify PH this time as not a special occasion- we have indeed been spoilt before as usually always have PH or equivalent. I’m sure CS is perfectly good for our needs! But a bid if possible is to hard to resist:)) As I’m limited mobility I can’t bid for an EV which is a shame.

I’ve looked thank you. For example if I’m in a CS & bid for PS I don’t get additional benefits eg liquor set up, laundry? I’ll make sure to look closer to my cruise:)))

If you want to do something different this is different but would need a car or taxi. It’s a unesco world heritage site. There are lots of cafes but again not sure where in location to the port. There is the old carob mill area which you may find interesting but I don’t know what it’s like post covid. I know Larnaca like the back of my hand but Limassol less!

Larnaca is the main airport. We usually fly with BA. We go to Cyprus a couple of times a year from London. There is also Paphos airport but it’s much smaller.

Limassol is very safe. Not much near the port though.
