I’m gluten free and I always found the staff really accommodating. Our youngest is a very picky eater and they always managed to get her something to her taste so I wouldn’t worry. Just relax & enjoy!

You know that’s what I said to Gary when booking May’s Norway cruise. I want to try not being in a suite which sounds elitist but there are times when you feel you have to get ‘your money’s worth’ by using retreat facilities while missing experiencing the rest of the ship. I’d also rather holiday more & if that means not a suite life than so be it! Not sure how I will feel though on the new ships as not keen (from videos) of IV. Prefer a proper balcony.

For our May cruise Celebrity agent told me not to upgrade yet & wait for special offers nearer the time.

BBC will definitely be broadcasting HMs funeral as they are our national broadcaster.

Yes that’s my thing - going from being treated like Royalty to a normal suite guest. How will I cope with Aqua <joke obviously>

With the price difference for PH & RS to CS I expect there to be a difference in service. It’s one of the things you are paying for.

We are in Aqua in May. Usually I’m a suite. The kids when they were little loved the buffet so we are used to that.

So I’ve booked it! Very excited but not all the parts that you knowledgeable people have mentioned. Any advice greatly appreciated. I’m limited mobility in that I use a walking stick but not a wheelchair.

Just booked Silhouette for Norway cruise in May. Aqua for a change as usually do suites. Hoping we will like it! Newer ships will probably do suites because I like a proper balcony.

Thought about Concierge as well tbh. But I’ve wanted to try Aqua before & it’s 7 nights so I’m interested to try it. Will also book a couple of speciality restaurants as well.

Looking at booking Aqua for fjords in May. Will be interesting to try as have only sailed suites before. I’m hoping to be a convert so I can cruise more. Win win.

Will be back another time to look properly but if I can persuade husband I’m booking 29th May 23 on Celebrity 7 nights from Southampton. 7 nights is all we have time for so will have to do. Have an Mediterranean cruise booked this October as well.

If the retreat isn’t an actual retreat Celebrity may find it’s passengers looking elsewhere. I’m really looking forward to trying it out. About to book a fjords cruise for May in Aqua as can’t justify another retreat cruise as big land holiday booked for next year.

It relies on people to think of others & unfortunately not everyone does. But I regularly get bad colds & covid hasn’t really changed that. When I had covid I couldn’t get out of bed for 4 days. My colds are never as bad.

Personal Retreat Host was a mouthful so I’m not surprised.

I’ve cancelled our offer for RS after much deliberation. Decided to put money towards Norway fjords cruise instead & will try Aqua. Going from CS to Aqua maybe ok. From RS to Aqua maybe a bit too much especially as we are usually PH. We’ve a couple of big land holidays next year so can’t really justify retreat class.
