Thanks . . .

The 2020WC is on the Mariner.
The safes have always been smaller on the Mariner - hopefully an upgrade will be part of the upcoming drydock.
The crew/staff is always friendly to everyone - it is one of the things which makes Regent so special!
Have fun Jackie!

Kwaj girl,
I doubt if Jamie and Dana would be hosting the party - more likely Jason Montague - but it would be very unusual for them not to be there. They might be flying in from whatever the last port is before LA.
I guess we'll know as the time gets closer.

Paul&Shark,
I'm confused - although some of your dates make sense, the ship will be in LA on December 29th and at sea on the 30th. It does a Mexican Riviera just before the WC starts. The WC ends in LA on May 25th.
Could you check the details again?
Thanks . . . .Peggy

Kwaj girl,
That was how it worked in 2017. The alternate Captain -who boarded later in the cruise - was at the party plus a number of Regent Executives. Plus Jamie and Dana.
A nice event.

I don't know Jamie's and Dana's schedule but am pretty sure they will not be on from now till the WC.
I don't know when they go home nor do I know exactly when they return but it seems unlikely that they will be on-board prior to the WC since they will be on for the full WC trip.

I have never - EVER - felt that the job the Regent crew/staff does is dependent on a tip.
I always make a contribution to the Crew Fund - the Fund covers everyone - the people you see and the many you do not.

The walls over the desk, over the couch and above the bed have thick wallpaper or the headboard which won't "hold" magnets but the rest of the walls are still usable.
I used tape on some of the other walls . . .

Silver Sweethearts,
I wonder if your TA could arrange a visit for you.

Looks like the trip is booking well. It's on the Regent web site.

Drib,
Got it!
Thanks, Peggy

Hi Drib,
Clicking on "me" got me to Laura's email - not yours . . . .

Drib,
What is the link to your web site?

Yes, there will be lecturers on board - they will not be hired through Smithsonian. Check your cruise - some have people listed.

And trivia was in Stars Lounge on the Navigator during the '17 World Cruise.

Cancel/re booking on board to use OBC only works if there free space on the tour. Ask before you go ahead.

We were told that the Myanmar stop was cancelled on the 17WC due to low water in the River.
We were told on March 3rd. The stop was to happen March 19-22.
The changes worked well but needless to say, a number of people were disappointed.

Thanks Marc.
He's been on the 16+17Crystal WC - and 16+17NWP more recently.
But not on Regent since 2004..

I'm curious - Perry Grant was on the Voyager for the WC in 2004. Has he been on Regent since then? I know he's been on a variety of other lines.
Thanks . . . Peggy

Rich,
Thanks so much for the great blog - it's always fun following you, Ginny and Shauna on your trips. What's next?
Safe travels home.

Hi Jackie,
You've listed the GM I know about. Are there others? Maybe. I don't know.
