  1. That sounds like a full suite. Club Class doesn't have a lounge or a concierge.
  2. Interesting...we started cruising in 2013 and have never had that experience.
  3. As I understand it, the old device is automagically logged out when you log into the new device.
  4. If you think it's only Princess that's skewing toward the younger generation, take a look at Gary Bembridge's video on YouTube titled "I Look At What Celebrity Cruises Is REALLY Up To. And Why!".
  5. You'll find out which is correct when you're on the ship. Once on board, go to Pax Svcs and request a folio printout. If it says "refundable", "non-refundable", you're good to go. Use it for anything you want. It is adds "excursion credit", buy a transfer (if allowed) or buy an excursion.
  6. We got it for a 5-night cruise. What Princess says and what they do are often 2 (or 3) different things.
  7. Jave you tried an email to the "big guns"? Padgett & Swarz
  8. There really isn't an official boarding pass anymore. You can ignore the app, bring ALL your paperwork to the port (passport, vaccine card, your travel summary) and just show up. They'll get you through the usual routine...no problem. However, if you do the app stuff, you'll be on the ship faster with less hassle at the port. Do what you can, ignore the rest. OR you could use the web-based app. It will allow you to do almost everything that the phone app does (can't buy internet, add security photo, maybe a couple of other things). If you want to try that, go to the Personalizer online, click on your cruise, scroll down a little until you see the logos for "AppStore" & "GooglePlay". Right under that is the link for the web-based app. You use your Princess log in for user name & password. Once you're on the ship, you can ignore the app and just use your Medallion to open the door and make purchases...just like the "old" cruise card. They're trying to phase out the cards, they should be available, but one never knows.
  9. Never had a towel animal. There have been sporadic reports of towel animals...usually from a superior steward or a special occasion.
  10. You could ask for OBC. We were successful doing that once (usually the price we pay is as low as it goes). We got $200 which was better than zero.
  11. Yes. The steward may ask if you want it. If he doesn't ask and doesn't do it on the first night...request it.
  12. That "yes" was almost certainly incorrect. The bookkeeping system doesn't isolate excursion credits. It keeps track of refundable & non-refundable OBC. You would probably need to book the transfer on board to be able to use OBC.
  13. Since you're Elite, you'll also get 2 mini bars. If you have the drink pkg, that's no big deal. If you only dring occasionally (& no drink pkg), you can keep one and trade one for 2 coffee "cards".
  14. On our April cruise, the health questionnaire didn't make any difference. We were in the green lane up to and including boarding day and I forgot to do the 24 hour update until we were sitting in the boarding lounge.
  15. Don't they have to use brewed coffee to make specialty coffee? Just askin'. I don't drink coffee, so don't know what they do.
  16. The ones in the IC cost $ (unless you have the drink or coffee pkg). You have to call room service for regular teas. Only drinks with a $ charge are listed on the app.
  17. No way to know. It could appear on a particular ship on cruise A and not be offered on cruise B.
  18. Unless the app doesn't work for you. When we did our one and only suite in April, the app wanted to charge. We waited until we were on the ship. They were super accomodating. We are early dinner folks and they didn't care. Gave us the time we wanted.
  19. DH's "go to" meal when nothing appeals. He's a "put pasta in front of me & I'll eat it" kind of guy.
