I have some tinnitus going on in my right ear from my cold.  If this was an all the time thing, it would drive me crazy.  I really need my ear to pop.

When you use Miami area instead, you can fly into Miami and fly out of FLL it works much better

Spirit doesn't fly from here.  If we have to travel to get a better flight, it won't be for Spirit.  

I got sick after our trip.  It started the day after we flew, the good news is that I do not have Covid, but the sore throat from my cold sucks.  

I have preferred airlines, but I will use most options (not Spirit or Frontier).  We are looking into Air New Zealand for our Australia trip because of their skycouch option.

Fly in and out of FLL instead.  You can get roundtrip on Delta for $303 and not be stuck at the airport all day on the return leg.

My mom is a runner.  She once did the Goofy Challenge at Disney World, a half marathon one day and a whole marathon the next.  I think she is down to just halfs now.  

I have another friend who will participate in the Dopey Challenge in January.  That is a 5K, 10K, half marathon, and full marathon over the three days.  Runners be crazy.

The coatis are aggressive because stupid people keep feeding them. 

Raul landed about 2 feet in front of me coming out of the buffet, so I could get decent photos. 

Apparently it is cold back home, lows in the 20s (F) with possible snow. We unexpectedly planned this perfectly.

We've done both, and I recommend it as a land trip.  It gave us time to explore without needing to rush every day to see everything.  We rented a car and drove from Venice > Florence/Pisa > Rome > Pompeii/Amalfi > eastern coastline > Venice.  We spent our last few days in Venice but ditched the car at the airport.

NYE are inflated prices to begin with, and Charleston is generally more. That price is probably since it is a very popular sailing time and two months out.
