  1. Question - I am 4 points short of reaching the next tier. I am on a B2B2B cruise starting next Saturday. Will my tier update after the first cruise so that I can take advantage of the additional perks for cruises 2 and 3?

  3. So I’m totally confused. I booked the Classic package (along with internet and gratuities) last July. At that time premium coffees and teas were included in the Classic Package. Is that no longer the case? I only see those listed in the Premium package now.
  4. I was just on the Reflection last month. We were at pier 29. We dropped our bags off at the pier, but it was very crowded and probably took at least 15-20 minutes to do so. (I’m guessing we were there at prime time around 11:30-12 or so.). We then drove over to the Palm garage just a few blocks away and parked on the 4th level. (Just follow the “P” signs as you exit the pier area.) We took the elevator down to the first floor to catch a shuttle where they stored our carryons in the back. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone straight to the Palm garage, parked, taken the elevator to the first floor, and had them load all of my luggage on the shuttle there. That’s what many people were doing. When you get off the shuttle there were porters to collect your bags to have them transferred to the ship. When we disembarked, we got our luggage and went outside to catch the shuttle back to the garage. The elevators are not large and there were a lot of people trying to get on with their big suitcases. I ended up leaving my friend on the first floor with the luggage while I went up and brought the car down. When you get to the first floor, turn right and there are some spaces going towards the elevators where you can easily park and load your luggage. I think we paid $15 a day to park. I don’t know about the suite checkin as we were only in a balcony cabin.
  5. Poor Kathi! I had been following her trip on CC and was wondering why the posts stopped so abruptly. I hope the treatments work and that they can also get her pain to a much more manageable level.
  6. Way back in the day when I had a Blackberry for work, I had left it off the entire cruise until the last night. I decided to charge it up so that I could check my work emails the next day when we docked. The instant I started charging it, hundreds of messages started downloading. Thankfully, I guess we were close enough to the coast of Florida that I didn’t incur any charges. But I sweated it out for weeks waiting for the bill to come in and also had to explain to my extremely cost conscious boss what had happened.
  7. A really stupid question from me - how can you tell that Verizon is picking up the Martinique tower? I’m going to be on the Equinox in a few weeks for 28 days and also have Verizon. I’m thinking of adding Travel Pass.

  9. Thanks for the quick response. I’m on a B2B2B for 28 days starting next month and I really didn’t want to have to take a large amount of cash with me, so I guess I’ll have to use the ATM. If I do a room charge at the slot machine and cash it out is there a charge associated with doing that?
  10. Can Guest Services cash a check for you or is the only option to use an ATM?
  11. If you get a chance, can you find out how many people are expected for the 12/11 cruise? Just wondering if it will be at full capacity. Thanks in advance!
  12. Great pictures! I can’t wait to board her on Sunday! Do you know if there is an outlet near the head of the bed? I use a CPAP machine and was wondering.
  13. That looks like a really deep balcony. We board next Sunday and will be in a cabin on deck 8 in the bumped out section going towards the aft of the ship. I hope our balcony is like yours. Did you ever find the hair dryer? I really don’t want to have to drag one along.
  14. I’m on B2B2B cruises on the Equinox in a few months, and I was wondering how online checkin works. I know I need to do the checkin online for the first cruise, but I was wondering if I also need to do it for the second and third cruise.

  19. Ugh, that email came to my email address but has my 93 year old mother’s name on it. She can no longer cruise. Sure wish it had been addressed to me.
  20. Loving your report!! I have to say those daily activities don’t look that interesting, maybe because it was a port day?
