Tours at the ports

We are cruising in March - ports include Laem Chabang, Phu my, Danang and Halong Bay.

Will there be tours available at the dock of these ports?

We are happy to do a local tour at Laem Chabang and Phu My - we don't want to take the long journey into Bangkok or HCMC.

We would be looking for a cruise in Halong Bay

Thanks for any tips

Phu My is a commercial port, there is nothing there to do locally without some travel. In October there was a market set up beside the ship on our return from our excursion. You would have to walk to port entrance about 10 mins but I don’t recall seeing any one there offering tours.

We did a battlefield tour with particular reference to Australian involvement. It was excellent. If you are interested website is http://www.vtvfcf.com/. It is run by volunteers who contribute funds to local orphanages. It was an excellent tour.
