Taxis in Copenhagen

Do taxis charge per person and per piece of luggage when transporting from hotel to cruise port or is it just one price?

they charge the meter price

there were 2 of us port to airport

we only had 2 large cases & a carry on so did not see an extra charge

Taxis are not allowed to charge extra for luggage if it fits inside the car.

We also were charged based on the meter and we were not charged for luggage.

This is great news. So many cities charge extra for each piece of luggage which is annoying and never made sense to me. How much is the usual fare from the port to the airport?

Thought some might find this interesting: We were overnight onboard in Copenhagen and at the port furthest out of town. We had made arrangements to leave the ship at 4:00 AM to catch an early am flight to start another trip. The ship called to arrange a taxi for us the evening before. Driver was there on time and when we got to the airport, he declined our tip. He said that he makes a good wage and tipping was not necessary. Never had that happen before.
