Uber or Lyft from MIA to port?

If you walk out and taxis are right there, may be easier. But they also may not have one that fits 4 with bags and try and get you to take 2 taxis...

Something to consider is how easy it is to get Uber at Miami airport. When you walk out of baggage claim you will see a number on the door, same number on the columns, too. Uber will ask you for this number. Your driver picks you up right there. You just walk to the middle median. It's probably the easiest and fastest airport to get an Uber you'll ever see.

So UberXL is NOT a bad idea, especially not at Miami. But if the taxis are right there and can accomodate you without a wait and without multiple vehicles, that may be even easier. But really, thinking more about this, I'd probably do an Uber XL :)
