Drew Thomas - Magician - FOS

I've read that Drew Thomas was on board Freedom recently as part of the entertainment. This week he was voted off of Americas Got Talent. Just curious what people thought of him or if he's planning on going back to entertaining on cruises.

I also understand he has already played Vegas. Frankly, I was unimpressed by his television performances. All his tricks seem based on gadget boxes with false bottoms or backs.

He is on the entertainment list for our Sept. 20th cruise on Freedom.

Just back from Freedom - yes Drew Thomas was one of the entertainers. Our crew enjoyed his show. Television doesn't always translate as well as live.

The 'Now you see it" production show on Freedom was designed around Drew Thomas - and that show's been on the ship since it came out.

I posted a thread earlier for my November 15th Entertainment schedule and Drew Thomas is scheduled for this cruise too.

We actually spoke with Drew last year when we were on the Freedom (met him at a bar in Puerto Rico). He travels back and forth between the ship and home each week, half the week on the ship, half at home. This way he can perform his act each week. Don't know if it is the same now with all the extra publicity or not, but that's what we were told last year.

We enjoyed Drew Thomas until this last week. Thought his semi-final performance was not up to his previous performances. I agree with an earlier poster that says live is much better to watch a magic show than on TV. Would love to see Drew on a ship.:)

Save some money if you want his autograph onboard. He was charging $5 a few weeks back. I thought it was in REALLY poor taste to be charging. :(
