CarnivalCruzer Posted September 18, 2009 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2009 What happens on a 2-Day cruise to Nowhere? Do they still have a show? Is everything open as usual? Is dinner more casual? What else is different? We're looking at a quick weekend on the Dream Nov 13-15th out of NY?
Rare mizLORInj Posted September 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2009 I have done two CTNs (though not on Carnival) and yes, everything is the same as a longer cruise--it's just shorter! Should be great--we'll be the FIFTH people to be in that cabin! Can't get better than a brand new ship (other than being passengers on 1-4th cruise!)! Rare jimbo5544 Posted September 18, 2009 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2009 Depends on the departure port. We were on one earlier this year from CA and the casino's were not open. Supposedly a CA law about a ship without another destination.

Hopefully they're open from New York, if not...it's no big deal really. :p
Rare mizLORInj Posted September 18, 2009 #5 Share Posted September 18, 2009 The casinos were open on the ones out of NYC. Duty free shopping too. See you onboard CarnivalCruzer! It'll be fun! ANY cruise is fun! RE: your question about casual--I'm not bringing formal clothes. Nice, but not formal.

abxk40a Posted September 20, 2009 #7 Share Posted September 20, 2009 What are the dinner options on a two night trip? Formal, casual? Set table arrangements or anytime seating?
