cazz0069 Posted October 3, 2009 #31 Share Posted October 3, 2009 Has anyone else got any to add of any ships they've cruised on? I'm also looking for some old photos of cabins which I'll scan and put on here as well. It'll be interesting to see how things have changed over the years. Jillybean:) Cabin A306 on Sun Princess (complete with partner laying on the bed:cool:)

Gold Coast Cruisers Posted October 4, 2009 Author #35 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Here's some oldies.. Shaw Savill Line, Southern Cross two berth. A six berth cabin Oh how cruising has changed. Look at the beds, they don't exactly look very comfortable. Jillybean:)
scottym89 Posted October 4, 2009 #36 Share Posted October 4, 2009 Not a great shot - E114 on Pacific Dawn - 4 Berth, with the 4th bed raised. You'll see one of the boys with his life jacket on, during the very specific instructions of "Please get your life jackets ready, but do not put them on" Actually while we are sharing his stupid stories, got a great one for you - as we headed back to the cabin after dinner one night he raced ahead of us, when we finally got in ourselves he had this really worried/annoyed look on his face Him: "Guys someones been in our cabin!" Us: "What????!!!!" Him: "Well I definetly don't remember the bedside lights being on when we left, and someones folded the toilet paper" Us: "Oh no! Someone alert the captain, some hooligan is running around breaking into cabins and turning the bedside lights on!!!" For those playing along at home, it was of course the turn down service. Happy Cruising!
