VgsBby Posted November 22, 2009 #1 Share Posted November 22, 2009 We won the "win-a-cruise bingo" in our Freedom cruise in Oct. We can take any 7 day cruise. Any itinerary, any ship. Which would you chose? Thanks for the input? Ben
H82seaUgo Posted November 22, 2009 #2 Share Posted November 22, 2009 WOW. You want new? Try the Dream. You want to go to places you've never been before, chose that. But, the two most popular 7 day cruises are the eastern or western Caribbean. The all time favorite class ship is the Spirit class. BUT, you can't go wrong on any decision! Rare NutsAboutGolf Posted November 22, 2009 #3 Share Posted November 22, 2009 Victory for the itinerary and Dream for the ship
hott_michelle2001 Posted November 22, 2009 #4 Share Posted November 22, 2009 I think the best trip you can take for free is the 7 day cruise to alaska on Carnival Spirit. You can go on the carribean cruises anytime. Alaska is more exspensive so why not choose it when your getting it for free?:D
tiggerman101 Posted November 22, 2009 #5 Share Posted November 22, 2009 My Victory Southern Caribbean cruise was my favorite so far if you are looking to cruise for the ports. The islands are all beautiful. Alaska would be another choice if you want the most bang for your (free) buck. Congrats and let us know what you decide. SkyMaster Posted November 22, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 22, 2009 Personally, I'd probably do the "Dream", since it's the "New Ship On The Block", and it's more expensive. I do, however, live in Florida, so the itinerary isn't important to me. My personal favorite is also the Spirit class ships, but once again, I can do them anytime.....Congrats on winning the cruise! ;) "SKY"
Irishlinny Posted November 22, 2009 #7 Share Posted November 22, 2009 Congrats! I prefer the Legend out of Tampa....Western Car. Love the spirit class ships. But I have to agree with some other posters to get more for your winnings and do Alaska, if you are inclined that way. You can tack on the extra week of the land tour and pretty much pay for a single vacation! Whatever you choose, enjoy!!:)
pokergirl34 Posted November 22, 2009 #8 Share Posted November 22, 2009 I would choose the Spirit to Alaska. We can drive to the port so it would be a very affordable vacation for us. If you have to fly no matter what, and prefer the Caribbean, I would do the Victory. Six ports in seven days, and the embarkation port is a beautiful destination as well. I wish my Victory cruise would be free! Well shoot, it might be fun to try the Dream as well. Or the 8 day Freedom itinerary. Darn it, I can't decide :D What a tough problem you have OP! ;) Enjoy your cruise!!!!
Rare NutsAboutGolf Posted November 22, 2009 #9 Share Posted November 22, 2009 When do you have to book by? Carnival has publicly mentioned it's interested in having a ship permanently in the U.K. as early as next year...

Weddingcrasher Posted November 23, 2009 #14 Share Posted November 23, 2009 Southern Caribbean Itinerary, Victory (currently)
chachi Posted November 23, 2009 #15 Share Posted November 23, 2009 I would do Victory. The flight to Puerto Rico is a little more expensive. It would be nice to pay for it when you don't have a cruise to pay for too. I like the idea of a different island everyday.
DarthGrady Posted November 23, 2009 #16 Share Posted November 23, 2009 Alaska, and more specifically the Glacier Bay route. They only do 2 or 3 a year, so get 'em while they're hot.
