BayCalif-Ariz R Us Posted November 26, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted November 26, 2009 Everybody is out on the decks and balconies hoping to spot him but of course the odds are not good. It would seem that this was not an accident but rather a personal choice (no one knows of course at this point) so your prayers for this young Italian would be appropriate. Certainly he has everybody's on board........Denise

captainron Posted November 26, 2009 #6 Share Posted November 26, 2009 Perhaps the young man wanted to live there and took a chance at it. For all anyone knows, he may have had someone pick him up in a boat and he may be living the life there. Until a body is found, think the best for him. Ciao for now!!! BayCalif-Ariz R Us Posted November 27, 2009 Author #7 Share Posted November 27, 2009 Approximately 18:30, the Captain announced they were discontinuing the search and loading the rescue boats and continuing our voyage to the Panama Canal. We were dining at the time and the room was complete silence when the Captain started his announcement.

Grego Posted November 29, 2009 #11 Share Posted November 29, 2009 If they really wanted to end up living in Columbia, why I don't know, why didn't he just get off the ship when it was in port and not come back? Seems a lot safer than avoiding being shark food. On the other hand if this was accidental, then we do hope that they ended up securely on shore.
