Informal night

Hi all

 

Does the Informal night still exist, or do we just have the formal and the casual night? If it does exist as far as RCI is concerned is it still observed by the majority of guests. I quite like dressing smart, but flying these days we have strict limits on weight of cases, so if needs be will only pack my tux and casual wear.

It's called Smart Casual on RCI, and they have them, but it is treated as casual by a lot of people.

The "smart casual" nights are usually on the 10 night and longer cruises. And it's true---most just bump up the "casual" a bit!

On my last RCI cruise, I was surprised that there was no evening listed as "smart casual". I honestly believe it is only formal or casual - and some "theme" nights it you choose to dress for the theme. (Caribbean attire, 70's attire, etc.)

We were on the Explorer Of the Seas March 2009 for a 12 Night Caribbean Cruise. For that length of Cruise we had the 3 different evening dress codes. As far sa what others wore never noticed or cared. I know everyone in our party (8) dress as suggested for that evening. As others have mentioned the dress codes may depend on the length of your Cruise. Enjoy your Cruise.
