Willie T Posted January 6, 2010 #7 Share Posted January 6, 2010 5 times to the Mexican Riviara. 2 to the upper Cabo run, (same ship) and 3 (again, same ship) to lower run, Alcupuco etc. Shaking it up this year I think with a Carib. cruise! Had to count and couldn't believe that out of ten cruises we did six out of Jax, that's because it is so close to home, Wish we could have bigger ships and longer cruises from here, get tired of the same ole, same ole. At least we can drive to the other one's out of Fl. Could go out of Charleston but they go to the same ports so that is out,:( Thinking of trying a new cruiseline after our next cruise. Fortunately or unfortunately there are only certain islands that can accommodate the monster ships, and even the medium size ones. Not much chance of port changes coming though I can see the monster ships doing 8 day cruises to nowhere soon.
bobbyleduck Posted January 6, 2010 #10 Share Posted January 6, 2010 Five cruises and we've only visited one port (Cabo) twice, and that was 10 years apart (many changes). We've sailed out of Fort Lauderdale once, and finished another cruise in Fort Lauderdale. Our next two cruises will change a bit of that, because we are doing a B2B from Vancouver to Honolunu, and Honolulu to Ensenada. So, we'll visit Kona, Hilo, Maui and Kauai on each of the cruises, plus spend nearly 3 days in Honolulu. This was planned and is very welcome, because four of the people in our group of eight have never been to the islands. Happy cruising to all!
