I started reading last night, pictures were there... tried to read at work today, red X came home and the pictures were there again. I suspect it's the office's way of saying.... NO DAYDREAMING!

And... I don't smile much in pictures either so leave the poor man alone

Yeah I am at home now and i can see all the pictures. Yall are a great looking couple. Congratulations on the engagement....

And about not seeing the pics at work....how dare them....I guess they think they pay me to only code and process invoices.....how dare them....lol

I sailed on the Legend last July. It was perfect I did not have a single problem. 7 beautiful sunny days. The bartender in the main lobby lounge whose name was YOYO treated myself and my family like we were so special, especially my elderly mom. YY made up drinks for her and she felt so special. It was the best vacation I have ever had.

I think my DH is related to your fiancee.

He didn't like it to take pictures of the food. He hardly ever smiled for the camera. Loves the casino. We got engaged on Valentines' at the last minute passing a jewelry store.

We've been married more than 20 years. He has definitely loosened up and enjoys alot more now.

But I still remind myself that "Still waters run deep"

Best Wishes for many more happy experiences for you two!!

I can't wait to read about the rest of the trip! I am sailing on the legend on the 31st, and have been reading all that I can about her, but your pics really help! Hurry back! Congrats on the engagement. When we were planning our cruise I kidded my boyfriend(of 9 years) that there was a chapel on the legend if he wanted to get married, and he said let's it about time...We got married on 9/9/09 after 9 years, our cruise is our honeymoon.

We leave on the Legend on 1/17 and all the choices seemed so overwhelming but much of what you experienced is what we had in mind...so thanks for helping to us plan our trip! We are booked on the same deck you were on with a balcony, have read reviews about the beach you went to, as well as Senor Frogs, so I think our itinerary will be similar. We also opted for anytime seating for dinner.

I look forward to hearing the rest of what we will be doing.....lol.

Congrats and thanks again for sharing!!

Lyd and Rog

PS We got married on 09/09/09 and this is our belated honeymoon;)

Day #4 - Cozumel continued

Sorry it took so long to continue, I had a very busy weekend and had to catch up on some work.

I left off with us heading downtown and checking out senior frogs. We had bought some souviners at the shops downtown, much better for the money, and also a yard from senior frogs. I have to say that the staff at senior frogs were making some very phallic balloon head pieces and there were A LOT of little old ladies walking around with the,. I don’t think they new what was on their heads. My DF and I laughed fairly hard when we kept seeing this and just had to take a picture.

Here are some more pics of us with our yards in the cab back to the ship and also of us taking some silly pictures with the “displays” near the dock.

Once we were done taking our crazy pictures we head back on board. We never really waited till last minute to board, we were scared of being left behind so we always got there at least an hour before the end of boarding. Once back on the ship we collapsed in bed and took the best nap ever. Those drinks sure were strong!

After we got up from our nap we got ready for dinner. Tonight was a little less formal which was a nice break. I can’t find a menu from this night online but I remember what we ordered. My DF had decided on caesar salad again and got the veal parmesan for his entrée. I decided on the filet (even though I had that at the golden fleece the night before, what can I say I love beef) and also had the caesar salad. I also had the potato soup for an appetizer and my DF had whatever the pasta was for that evening as the appetizer. For dessert I had the bitter and blanc which was awesome and my DF skipped dessert. It was a good dinner and we left full and happy.

After dinner we were going to check out the show but heard that the original act had missed his plane and that they were throwing together an act last minute with the singers and dancers so we decided to skip it and glad we did because we heard it was not very good. I feel bad for the performers, that is a hard thing to pull off. Instead I bet you can guess where we ended up, in the casino, at least my DF did. I checked out the karaoke lounge and sang a few songs and chatted with some of the other participants. I checked on my DF every so often to see how he was doing and he was definitely doing really well. After a while we both decided to check out what else was going on around the ship. I think it was this night we finally went into Medusa’s lounge. We sat there for a little while watching the only two people on the dance floor when I decided that I would join in. I have to say it was a little weird having an entire dance floor to myself but it was fun. After my dancing debut we decided to head for bed. We were tired and we had a long day the next day snorkeling ahead of us.

Day #5 - Belize

We woke up with our normal routine of breakfast via room service and got ready for our day in Belize. Today we had booked an excursion through Carnival. We thought it sounded the safest, we have heard so many horror stories about Belize. We booked the snorkeling at Turneffe bay with a beach break at Banister Island.

We headed down to the Follies lounge so that we could be picked up by our catamaran. This was a very smooth process and moved fairly quickly, at least for those of us who are patient. There were a few impatient people who kept asking when there number was going to be called which I can just imagine must be the most annoying thing to the staff.

Once our number was called we headed off the ship 1,2,3 and boarded our catamaran. If you decide to take this excursion it is better to board last because you get to sit on the top of the catamaran instead of being squished in on the bottom. There is always a reward for those who are patient! Anyway we got to sit on top and it was an awesome boat ride to our destination. Along the way they fitted us for our snorkeling gear. Here is pic of my DF trying on his mask.

Once we arrived we were given instructions and then we jumped into the ocean. Now this was my DF’s first snorkeling trip and I think that he was very over confident before he actually tried it. He kept gasping for air and swallowing salt water. His beard didn’t help either. I have snorkeled a lot so this was a breeze for me. I helped him out a little and by the end he finally got the hang of it. We were able to take a few pics but I find them kind of boring so I will only post two.

I have to say that this snorkeling adventure was just okay. There were hardly any fish and the coral wasn’t that fantastic. It was fun but I could have been just as happy by the pool.

I have some work to do so I will have to finish later tonight. I hope this was enough for some of you to get by for now. I will be back soon:)
