zip line

Recommended Posts

If you're referring to the Zip Line on Oasis, there's no charge. You need to make a reservation once you get on board. When you show up for your allotted time, they harness you up and get you ready in less than 5 minutes. Very safe -- there were 2 back-up systems to the main "hook." It's a fast Zip across the Boardwalk, but fun!

Seeing as you are on the Explorer going to Labadee, I will assume that is the zipline you are referring to. Here is a link to a great thread about that zipline by Trainman. That should give you some great information.

Oh, sure, mema, actually READ where she's going! ;) As for the zipline at Labadee, yes, check out that thread. I did the zipline there and it was great. It takes about 90 minutes total: you will do a practice run on a smaller one to get a feel for how you do it, then they take you up to the top. Make sure to wear something like tevas or water shoes and nothing that can fly off. Also, bring a camera! Make sure it has a wrist strap. But you'll want to take pictures from the top of the hill. If your have friends with you, have them come over to the beach about 45 minutes/hour after you get there if they want to see you come down/take a picture.

Have a great time!!!
