jeanniedc Posted January 11, 2010 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2010 I have to choose between two locations on Voyager for a Western Med. cruise in August. I'm getting adjoining rooms; both Junior Suites. On my last cruise, I was on Deck 10 of Radiance of the Seas and was very happy there. After reading some postings here, I'm starting to freak out about the noise issues on Deck 10, even though I'm partial to that deck for the high location. My specific cabin choices are: 1650/1652 (under the Windjammer) on Deck 10, OR suites 9630 and 9634 on Deck 9. I can't seem to get an answer from RCL about whether 1650 and 1652 are under the carpeted or tiled part of the Windjammer..... Has anyone stayed in 1650 or 1652? Thoughts on Deck 9 vs. Deck 10 for overall hall traffic (or anything else - more noisy kids on Deck 9??)? Please help - thanks!!!
39august Posted January 11, 2010 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2010 We've stayed in the aft cabins under the WJ on deck 10 and never noticed any noise.
cb at sea Posted January 12, 2010 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2010 We LOVE deck 10--easy access to the pool! We've never had any noise....you said you didn't have noise in the past....stop second-guessing yourself!
ckrobyn Posted January 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted January 12, 2010 My preference is for deck 10. It's nice to be able to run up and down the stairs to the pool and Windjammer, and not having to wait for the elevators all the time - not to mention that by the time it reaches deck 9, the elevator is usually full!!!!!
