SavannahLime Posted February 23, 2010 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2010 Looking for people who have been on the Monarch of the Seas recently and are going on the Bahama cruise leaving Port Canavarel on 8-16-10. Looking for advice on all aspects of cruising..... Check out RCCL roll call forum for your sailing. The Monarch is nice and the perfect size for the short cruises but wouldn't want to be on it for more than 3 nights. Most of the outside cabins have obstructed views if that matters. And there are no balcony cabins. The Staff is very friendly and helpful, the cabins are dated but clean (showers have curtains not doors so take a few clothspins or binder clips along to help keep them close when showering.) Superior rooms have safes but I am told the smaller cabins do not. Its a cruise, thats the main point... enjoy!
Rare Essiesmom Posted February 23, 2010 #3 Share Posted February 23, 2010 There are separate forums for each of the cruise lines here at Cruise Critic. Go to the one for Royal Caribbean and ask there. Also, there is a forum called Roll Calls where people 'meet' others sailing with them, and chat about excursions and shipboard activities. Visit the Cruise Discussion Topics forum for lots of good advice on cruising. EM
6rugrats Posted February 23, 2010 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2010 I have to be honest. I am always puzzled to see this type of question. You booked a cruise, but you are now seeking "advice about all aspects of cruising"? That question is so vague, who could possibly answer it? There are lots of aspects of cruising. Why not start doing your own research and go to the roll call thread for your sailing, and the forum for your cruiseline and start reading threads. You can also get information on your cruiseline's webpage.
