arthierry Posted March 3, 2010 #78 Share Posted March 3, 2010 BAAHAHAHAHA, Andrae! Ya know what was REALLY funny about me actually doing that "air guitar" competition? I was TOTALLY sober! Just goes to show you what a nut I am even without drinking! Scary, huh! LOL I have pics of me doing and winning the air guitar contest. That skinny 22 yr old I was competing against had NOTHING on this ol' 52 yr old Grammy, now did she? :D LMAO. TRUE 'dat! Whenever you open up the "The Sheila's Dancing Sober School of Art", I would like a complimentary scholarship. I bet you are a fun drunk though! You're the kinda gal I like to have around when drinks are plentiful.
arthierry Posted March 3, 2010 #79 Share Posted March 3, 2010 Yeah, I could be like the overweight Kathy Lee Gifford doing a Carnival Cruise commercial? Here is a video I didn't know the hubbs took of me (until I got home and looked at all the pics) on the first day right after we got into our cabin for the first time. I "think" I had about 4 drinks of the day (working on the 5th one---whew, they were STOUT) when he filmed me doing this crazy stuff. I have NO idea what possessed me or where the funky accent came from? Under the "influence" I guess? LOL Here's your LOTD (Laugh of the day) OM LORD!!!!! I love it Sheila. OK, I understand the "soberness" of this video, lol, but ummmmmmmmm, yea.....what's up with the life-vest. Were you and Mickey playing "Gilligans Island"?;):D

jstanokiegal Posted March 3, 2010 #81 Share Posted March 3, 2010 Ok, what did I tell you guys, this was such a GREAT cruise, especially when you have wacky people like Sheila on-board for her first cruise!! Thanks for sharing!!! Over and out, mon:D Jur velcome, 'mon! :D Ahum....why is it when I try to speak or type with an accent it never comes out right? I sound like Eva Gabor trying to do a Mexican/Jamaican accent!?! Aye, yii, yii, yiiii, I am the Frito Bandito. I like Frito's Corn Chips, I love them I do. I want Frito's Corn Chips, I'll get them from you. ***** Aye, yii, yii, yiiii, Oh, I am the Frito Bandito. Give me Frito Corn chips And I'll be your friend. The Frito Bandito You must not offend. Tis me, 'mon, de one wiff de swollen feet and ankles from too many salty margaritas! NOT the Frito Bandito! :) Note the "ouchie" on my left foot. I think I got that blister from too much dancing in sandals? I think this was the best pic taken of me on the cruise! No face showing! LOL

My right foot was extremely swollen as well on the cruise. I could not figure out why is was like that. I was thinking it was the food, but the food was not too or overly salty. Now that you bring up the salt around the margaritas, it all makes sense now. ***note to self*** Lay off the margaritas!

jstanokiegal Posted March 3, 2010 #89 Share Posted March 3, 2010 Oh wow, it was SO scary! I was nearly eaten alive in Cozumel!!!!! [/img] BUT.....my Oklahoma cowgirl skills worked once again! HIGH HO, Croccy, AWAY!!!!!!;) I also befriended the 3 amigos in Cozumel!! :D They were still crying and singing, "Don't cryyyyy for me, Argentina" when I waved "Adios, Amigos!!!" *sigh* I miss them already! I can't for the life of me figure out why they thought my name was Argentina? Note: I was wearing my HUGE Crocs in this pic because my feet were SO swollen this day! My toes look like Tootsie Rolls ready to explode! Not to mention the flattering yellow Jamaica hat of the hubby's I had to put on AFTER my massage at Nachi Cocum beach. Errrrrrr.....let's just say they massaged me with oil from "HEAD" to toe. My hair looked like a grease bucket afterwards, but I was totally relaxed! I'm having so much fun! Let's break out the unused bottle of Nuvo, Andrae...and of course share with everyone! :) PS. I'm sorry y'all. I don't know HOW to make these pics smaller! They are like MEGA files for some reason? OK, I understand the "soberness" of this video, lol, but ummmmmmmmm, yea.....what's up with the life-vest. Were you and Mickey playing "Gilligans Island"?;):D Uh...NO! No hanky panky Gilligan's Island after that video. I think we set sail not too long after that and the "casino" opened and hubby discovered it. Don't think for a minute I would not have LOVED to have thrown him overboard and left him stranded on a deserted island with no slot machines!!!!!!! LOL 1 after school grandchild zonked out, one left to go---the 2 yr old is alive and kicking with NO NAP! Back to building train tracks and race car tracks. :)

Thanks' date=' Carla[/color'] Hi Carla, welcome to Donna's review. :) I'm trying to build train tracks while blogging at the same time. Scary stuff! Wreck waiting to happen! :) The massage was Oooooooh la la----oh so GREAT! Best full hour massage I'v e EVER had. The girls there were pros. However; I didn't wait long enough for the discounted massage fees. A worker there told me later that the massages went down to $25 close to the end of the day! Just my luck! I paid $75 for a full hour massage---well worth it! Just take a hat with you---the head massage was so relaxing!!! Worth the greasy hair-do later! :)

Falls Cruiser Posted March 4, 2010 #99 Share Posted March 4, 2010 Great job Donna, I enjoyed reading every word and seeing every picture, we are leaving tomorrow (Thursday) on our trip to Houston and Galveston. Then headed out on the Conquest on Sunday for Key West & the Bahamas. Hey Falls Cruiser, looks like we are neighbors. Funny story, a few years back we got to commucating with someone else from Wichita Falls (on Cruise Critic) and it turns out they live almost across the street from us. Have a great day everyone. Doug Hey neighbor, just noticed you are also from the Falls. Small world! Looks as though y'all really like cruising. Let us know how your cruise goes. drparker82 Posted March 4, 2010 #100 Share Posted March 4, 2010 We were sitting at the table right behind you Made' (the waiter) in the picture where he is singing in the ketchup bottle! We had a great table too... and we always noticed that your table was having a lot of fun! :) Did you notice on the last night that Made' was getting frusterated with Raul (the asst. waiter) really bad! It was kinda funny, because Raul always had that huge smile on his face. It was like it didn't bother him if things weren't going perfect or not- he was just having fun! Me with our new found friends and waiters: The waiters singing their "good bye" song to us: And another, they were so AWESOME!!! You just can't imagine the "energy" until you experience this, it was wonderful, thanks SO much to our Carnival waiters, you guys and gals rocked!!!!
