Hello everyone. . . I made it onboard the Oasis of the Seas, and I don’t know were to start. Ok. . .lets try from the beginning. We left the Hyatt at about 11AM, and there was considerable traffic for our short 3 mile ride to the port.

As we entered the Security Check Point on Eisenhower Blvd, there are only 2 lanes for cars (There are many more at the Eller Drive entrance). Mrs. Radio suggested that our Security was being performed by someone on their first day. . . We only had 3 cars ahead of us, but it took about 20 15 minutes to be cleared to enter the port.

When we arrived at the pier about 5 min later things went very smooth, and very fast. They were already boarding, and we were whisked right through the line, and up to the Gangway

We went down to the Café Promenade to grab a few quick bites, and then we just walked, and gazed. . . The ship is a masterpiece, and I think it might be impossible for me to understand every concept, and photograph every aspect of the ship in just 7 days. . . Hmm. . . That’s a good reason for me to book Allure next year.

We have a nice table for 2 in the dining room for early seating. I am looking forward to dining at some of the Alternative dining this week.

The muster drill will begin soon, so here are a few pics from out arrival here at Terminal 18, and the Oasis of the Seas.

I will try to get some Sail Away photos posted later tonight. . . . This is going to be a fun week.

Thanks for tuning in. . .

We dont get to cruise as often as we would like and this really makes you feel like you are on the cruise, all the build up of getting to the port and getting on to the ship. I followed Trainman on his Oasis cruise and that was just brilliant. Have a great time Mr and Mrs Radio, we will be with you all the way.

WAtching it turn to leave right now.

Enjoy the cruise and thanks for all the pics and good information.

Isn't that webcam the coolest especially when a CC poster is on ship. Saw Oasis come in the first time into Fort. Lauderdale on this webcam.

I wish people could do live streams from cruise ships. I am also a Disney lover and lots of people will stream live from their Disney resort and it is unreal. You really feel like you are right there. Could you imagine being able to stare at the ocean as you are sailing out, seeing the sunset from a balcony in the caribbean somewhere, while you sit behind your computer desk at home! If it could only be done. Oh well, this is second best!! Thanks Radio!! Have a great trip!:)
