sstich79 Posted July 30, 2010 #76 Share Posted July 30, 2010 I am going to buy a better Camera - Pentax K-x - then my pics will be more appetizing , by the way , food was great on the Libertys Supper Club , I did not even get the desert . I'm curious... what's on that one plate, that looks sort of like either some fancy phyllo dough wrapping or a parchment bag? I second the previous poster who asked which was better, the lobster bisque or the French onion soup. I adore both! What a dilemma...
charmy733 Posted July 30, 2010 #77 Share Posted July 30, 2010 Do they have the same menu every night and we just choose what we want? These photos sold me!

bplazo Posted July 30, 2010 #82 Share Posted July 30, 2010 I suppose I am in the minority because I like everything plain with no sauces so most things on the menu I will not try.
Rare richstowe Posted August 2, 2010 #83 Share Posted August 2, 2010 What is the dress code at these steakhouses? If not formal any connection to formal dress nights in MDR?
kjunea Posted August 2, 2010 #84 Share Posted August 2, 2010 I suppose I am in the minority because I like everything plain with no sauces so most things on the menu I will not try. My husband is like that. He just asked for sauces on the side and they were very happy to do so! Also, all the steaks are more than I can eat, so DH got the Lobster and I got the porterhouse and gave him 2/3 of it and he gave me a few bites of Lobster. So we both got Surf and Turf! It is one of the best meals I've ever eaten and my dad studied at the Cordon Bleu in Paris!
dannymissy Posted August 2, 2010 #85 Share Posted August 2, 2010 This food is ALMOST too pretty to eat! Almost. Can't wait to eat at the Steakhouse on the Glory in March! I'm just wondering, and this is kind of o/t, so I apologize. Are there photographers in the steakhouse? Because, um, I think that Dan is planning for that night to be especially memorable, with perhaps something sparkly for my finger (he is a HORRIBLE secret keeper, but so adorable about it), and I would love to know there will be a photographer there to catch the moment. And please, nobody tell Dan that I'm on to him, LOL.
Froufie Posted August 2, 2010 #86 Share Posted August 2, 2010 The apple/caramel pastry dessert: The huge cheesecake: My favorite appetizer - the lobster bisque The escargot (as served in 2008 - I believe the current presentation is more 'traditional') The chocolate 'dessert' in 2007: The 'chocolate' dessert in 2008 (guess 3 dishes were not enuf so they added a fourth!)
