Liberty Aft Balcony Recomendation

Recommended Posts

Looking to book a aft balcony cabin on the Liberty of the Seas. Any recomendations? Looks like I should avoid deck 6 since its above the resturant and deck 10 since it's below the Windjammer. I can't tell from the deck plans, are the deck 7, 8 & 9 aft's catigory E-1's.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It would depend upon the category of cabin you are looking to book.

IMHO, Deck 10 - Cabin 1702 is great; it is a D1.

Photos in the link below.

The E1's on the other decks would be great as well.

I would book E1 9706 or any other E1 Aft with no hesitation.

In fact I did book it for the Liberty next spring because D1 1702 wasn't available at the time. I have since been able to book 1702.

Just so you know, there are two cons to aft balconies: 1) long walk to the elevators and 2) more motion/vibration.

We had 1702 on Freedom and absolutely loved the HUGE balcony! It was great and we spent lots of time enjoying the view. We had lots of sun during the day and I thought the sunsets were very beautiful.

Below is a close-up of Freedom's aft and 1702 is on deck 10, where the two people are standing at the rail.

Hope these photos give you an idea of what to expect.

Happy cruising!!!

Deck 7 corner cabins are great, 7708 and 7408, balconies are totalling covered and huge. Deck 10 corners are good as well but they aare D1's like stated above.

Molly, I been looking at E1's as they are a little cheaper. From the photos above I can see that the balconies look big but are the cabins also bigger like the corner D1's? I've had D1 corner 1400 and also 1402 and loved both but preferred the corner because of the size of the cabin.
