kileki2049 Posted April 22, 2010 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2010 This will be my first trip with Carnival cruise lines and our group involves an odd number of people. We are planning on traveling on the Carnival Destiny and I was wondering if there were rooms that house at least three people per room, instead of just two. I've tried looking on the website, but it says there is an invalid link. Anybody dealt with this issue? We would rather not purchase several rooms for only two people if we can save some money by sharing.
MrCo9 Posted April 22, 2010 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2010 All of the carnival ship's have rooms that fit, 1, 2, 3, 4 and some even 5 passengers.

When you reserve a room just put three on your reservation and you will be assigned to a room with a fold down bed. It hangs off of the wall almost like a bunk. comeon530 Posted April 22, 2010 #4 Share Posted April 22, 2010 The website only allows you to book one room at a time. You will need to call them if you want to do several at once.

You can look on the Carnival site, on the deck plans and look for rooms with the symbol that tells you it has a bunk or convertible couch. But if you are booking several cabins and want them close together, you probably should call anyway. EM

cccer Posted April 22, 2010 #7 Share Posted April 22, 2010 We have cruised a lot with our son and it always worked out fine until he got bigger. Four years ago we were on the Triumph and were booked for a three person room. His bed was a small cot they put on the small sofa. He was almost 6 foot at the time and this did not work out well. The first night he ended up on the ground and the rest of the night he slept on the floor (he was so tired he did not really mind). Bottom line is to ask your TA the size of the bed because they do have different options.
