hotgal1 Posted May 21, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2010 we have a 6 month old son and we are going on a 7 day southern carribean cruise in June. So I am wondering what excursions we can go on while we are out there. Our ports are San Juan, St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, St. Maarten. What else do I need to know? We will have a sit n stroll(stroller that converts into a car seat) so we can do a taxi if we need to. My husband is a kid at heart so he would love to do anything that a kid would. I love to find hidden spots and get to know the locals and the culture. We are not drinkers.
Rare Essiesmom Posted May 21, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2010 Welcome to Cruise Critic. There is a forum here for Family Cruising, located in the Special Interest Cruising forum. You might find more definitive answers there...EM
cb at sea Posted May 21, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2010 You need a guidebook on your ports! Libraries have them to check out, or you can buy one at a bookstore. It will be the best investment into a good time you can make!
Karysa Posted May 21, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 21, 2010 Barbados has a nature park that was beautifully shaded and had animals walking around and there are monkeys as well although we did not see any. St. Maarten has a zoo and a butterfly farm. In St. Thomas at Coki Beach there is Coral World.
