Carlisle Bay not Boatyard?

I have beautiful pictures of Carlisle Bay, but don't want to go to Boatyard. Are there some other beach bars there?

Browne's/Pebbles Beach are options that are pretty close to both of these locations(within walking distance). These 2 beaches are popular with the locals but do not have much in the way of amenities.

We saw two other beach bars on Carlisle Bay. They were Lobster Alive (next to the Boatyard) and Harbour Lights (down a little bit further).

-and there are other more 'native' shack type operations too, I'm led to believe..

which probably have a more interesting ambiance than the well-known popular hangouts.

There is a place at the old fish market (any cab driver should be able to get you there (between the Jemmot's lane stoplight and Carlisle Bay Centre. You can't see it from the road, but it's called Finally Michaels. Beach Bar, rest rooms (not upscale, but definitely local). The rent Chairs and Umbrellas as well. Someone is building a huge steel hull for a boat right beside it, and there will be guys playing dominoes in a makeshift "lean-to" just beside that. it's also the home base for Aquarius Water sports. They sell drinks and food. He has kids camps there through out the summer and during school holidays.

 

the beach in front is fairly inhabited and puts you between the Brownes Beach Area and Boatyard.
