Gift for 18 year old young man going a cruise

We are going on a graduation cruise with several families and high school graduates. I'm trying to think of a fun idea for a gift for one of the guys on the trip. I'd like to spend about $25 or so. Any suggestions?

OBC sound like the best gift he could recieve to enjoy while on his cruise.

I agree, call the cruiseline and order OBCs (gift certificates, fun ship dollares, etc) for the graduates. They will love you for it.

I agree, a soda card would save him money (as he's probably not allowed alcohol) but is nicer than giving him cash for obc.

 

Or how about a cruising related present with ginger tablets/ seasickness bands, travel size toiletries, ;lanyard for his S&S card etc. All wrapped up in a mortar board themed packaging?

Being the father of an 18 year old boy, I'd go with the OBC. Let him decided how he spends the gift, but you could suggest the soda package.

OBC would be good. a family friend of ours somehow called the line and had our room decorated with carnival theme stuff and also gave us drink vouchers

I don't think motion sickness pills or wristbands are a good idea. It almost suggests that he will be seasick and he might not even use/need them in which case it is a waste of money.

I was leaning against OBC since his parents are going with us so I figure they'll be in charge of getting him a soda card etc. The girls on the trip are so much easier to buy for!

 

Do the casinos still use real money? I was thinking part of the gift being a roll of quarters since he'll be legal to play slots since he'll be legal for the first time.

If you want an actual gift . . . how about snorkeling equipment if you can find a good deal. I got mine for about $30.
